Yes, it's a wonderful, chill, yummy place for drinks and/or dinner. I used to work right by it, and sometimes I'd have dinner by myself on their patio. I've also taken groups of friends there for casual summertime outings.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Being right on Washington St makes for great people-watching. The environment is really laid-back--I'd highly recommend Red Fez if you are looking for some cool summer nights...

Besides the food, the staff is very friendly, and the ambience is wonderful...they have floor to ceiling windows that let in so much natural light, you feel like you are outside. There is also outdoor seating in hip Davis Sq if you prefer.
The added bonus is free wireless internet and a few comfy couches. No one bothers you if you want to get cozy and do some work at O'Naturals...all in all, a great place!

I rarely feel fanatical about something, but Christopher's is worthy.
The food, the service, the atmosphere. I would go there every night.
The food is made of real, fresh ingredients...it's never greasy, overly salty or tasteless. You have the sense that you are eating real food that has been masterfully prepared. Especially their signature veggie burger...oh, don't get me started on that! Lots of great beers on tap too!
Servers are always kind, competent, and dutiful. You get the sense that they are very intelligent interesting people that you'd like to sit down and have a long conversation with.
The atmosphere is what take Christopher's to the next level. It feels like cozy, neighborhood bar/restaurant. Everyone there is very chill--there is no scene, just pure laid-back, relaxed enjoyment. To top it all off, they keep a fire place burning through the winter.

Blue Shirt's wraps are amazing. Packed with jasmine or poblano rice, and treats like goat cheese, curried chicken, fruit-mint chutney, grilled veggies, spiced tofu (not all in the same wrap!), these wraps are delicious, nutritious, and unique.
Blue Shirt also offers a wide variety of smoothies. Try the Hawaiian Song (mango, banana, pineapple, strawberry-guava juice, and sorbet) or the Peanut Butter Delight (peanut butter, bananas, yogurt, milk, chocolate sauce) or any of the many others. They also offer fresh-squeezed juices, a rarity among these parts. Mixing wheat grass, pineapple, apple and mint...or carrots, celery, cucumber, tomato and red pepper, they certainly delight the tastebuds. One bit of warning, however, they tend to shut down the juicer long before closing...this has left me dissappointed & craving many a night.
One other complaint is the demeanor of the cashiers. Somehow they seem to hire people who always seem slightly angry with you for making them do their job. Ordering is a very unpleasant experience--I have been to Blue Shirt many times and never been able to engage anyone is a friendly conversation.

Not every Dunkin can get your order right, and certainly not every Dunkin can keep the line moving at the same time. This one, located in Medford Square, can.
It's a large Dunkin with a decent sized parking lot and enough competent employees to ensure you get your morning fix. Interestingly enough, it has taken on a unique ambience, as they have decorated with fountains and lawn sculptures that are typical Medford kitsch. Though it's not my style, it's kind of nice to see that the effort has been made...

Wild Oats is a much smaller version of a Whole Foods Market. Their selection is a fraction of the size, and they don't seem to have much organic produce. They also pay a lot less attention to ambience, although the Medford store still has the feeling of a cute little natural market.
I shop here mostly for convenience. They have all the basics (though not many specialty items) and there is an attached Starbucks and a liquor store right next door. Also the salad bar tends to be top notch.
While it's no Whole Foods, I'd say Wild Oats is A-Okay!

This is the most beautiful Whole Foods Market I have ever been in. It is brand new construction, and everything is done in lovely earth tones.
When you walk in, you are greeted by mountains of fresh organic produce. Walk the store and you find thousands of natural foods including a huge number of specialty items to expand your palate and food sense. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help you find anything or even plan a menu for yourself or a party. They also have a great cafe, where you can sip coffee or have a meal from the incredible Salad & Hot Bars.
If you like food, you will LOVE Whole Foods.

Inner Strength is an amazing place. They offer a number of yoga classes per day--it is vinyasa style yoga with a number of other influences, including Anusara technique. It is an incredible workout, but it is not your typical hot Power Yoga.
They also offer acupuncture, massage, and personal training. I have had acupuncture and shiatsu services, and have been amazed with the results. Their practitioners are very knowledgeable and professional. You walk out of a treatment feeling absolutely alive and energized.

When you see the Medford Square exterior, you don't really expect to find the relaxing oasis that is inside. The decor is sage green and lavendar, with running fountains, and beautiful spa-like music.
I have had a number of services here, and all were wonderful--the treatment rooms are comfortable and private, and everyone is very knowledgeable and professional. The pedicures are incredibly relaxing, and the waxing services are better than I have ever experienced. Prices are good too. You pay what you would at a run-of-the-mill salon, but you get wonderful treatment and a truly relaxing spa experience.
