"All you can eat" is my middle name. Having tried all of the all you can eat sushi joints around town, one of the better bang for your buck places would be Kinoko on 72nd street right off of broadway. It boasts one of the better deals in the city for sushi where as the very affordable price (under $19) does not affect the quality of the fish. The all you can eat deal includes a miso soup or salad and rolls galore (try the magnificent dragon roll). You can order as many pieces of sushi as you like (sashimi not included). Hand rolls are also included (stuffed with a lot of rice however).
I normally leave having happily consumed about 50 to 60 pieces of fish and rolls. Bon Apetite!
p.s. Send me a note and I will be happy to join you guys!

For more than a decade running, Peter Luger has been voted for having the best steak in America.
Die hard steak mongers would vote for this steakhouse hands down. Quality choice cuts of beef melt in your mouth. One can argue that other steakhouses rein supreme, but don't slam Lugers until you try their meat.
The thing to order there is the porterhouse for two. Side dishes are ordered a la cart and are very tasty. Steaks come with a huge slice of onion and tomato in addition to thier excellent dipping sauce.
Make sure you bring your wallet with that emergency cash compartment. Bring extra cash and only cash. No plastic here.

If you are broke and thirsty, Off the Wagon is the place to be on weekdays after work. The whole bar is half price! Pitchers of beer start at $5.75 and mixed drinks can be had for $3!
Located footsteps away from New York University, the crowd tends to be very young and lively.
Challenge your pals to a game of beer pong or darts.
Happy hour is normally from 4-7pm and other drink promotions run throughout the night afterwards. Some nights feature $1 draft beer night!
p.s. Make sure to smell your mug before you pour!

My medium-rare porterhouse was absolutely heavenly in accompaniment with this mystery thick yellow colored and mouth watering dipping sauce. Now what was the name of that sauce? It was a Bรฉarnaise sauce! Bearnaise pretty much consists of an egg yolk, shallots, a little tarragon vinegar, and butter.
Smith and Wollensky is a classic old-school style steakhouse with red checkerboard tablecloth.
I highly recommend this steakhouse if you are having that carnivorous craving for red meat.
p.s. I sat at a table next to Keith Hernandez who was watching me scarf down my porterhouse!

There are no disspointments at Zoe. I even spotted a celeb one time!

If you are ever in chinatown and you have a serious case of the munchies, Tai Pan is the place to be. Tai Pan is a chain bakery that has been around forever so it seems.
You wont find doughnuts or any bavarian creme pies here. Tai Pan makes an assortment of chinese style pastries ranging from birthday cakes to miniature fruit tarts to roast pork buns to loaves of bread. Try the coffee or specialty teas or their juice bar. Tai pan can be a good place to read the morning paper while scarfing down a tray full of pastries. Very affordable and opens early.

I never really gave Indian cuisine a chance - until that is when I stumbled into Indian Taj on bleecker street.
Indian Taj has a typical Indian buffet style lunch that includes a variety of quality, clean and freshly made dishes - Chicken Tandoor, goat curry, naan and their out of this world chicken tikki masala are only a few of the examples of their daily buffet spread. I have been to a few Indian buffets since but they cannot compare to the quality of the food at Indian Taj.
The food is definately tasty and you will walk out of there feeling stuffed like a turkey for a mere $7.95.

Taiwanese Breakfast served here until 1pm. For the SOY enthusiasts, Peoples serves up fresh cups of steaming sweetened soy milk in huge bowls. The more daring SOY enthusiast can have a salted bowl of soy milk which is laced with a bit of spicy oil and pieces of fried crueler. Try the scallion pancakes, egg pancakes and beef pancakes. Soup dumpling here are also a bright spot. Besides breakfast, lunch and dinner feature huge bowls of beef noodles and my favorite dish called the "three ingredient chicken".
Very affordable and there will be a wait on weekends.

One of the current trendy lounges in the city. Hard to get into on some nights. Make sure you bring lots of women. They don't have any chairs nor sofas to recline on in there. Instead, lean back on one of their many mattress tables. Need to order a bottle in order to relax on the mattresses. Dance floor is pretty small but it may increase your chances of bumping into a celeb. Cool unisex bathroom with 2 way mirror stall doors for paranoid pooping. Then again, who poops in a club right?

Family style pasta!! The Quality of the food and service and the decor are a bargain for the price. Bring a date and share a pasta (large enough for 3 people) for about $22. The pasta is great and very garlic-ky. The angelhair is awesome and the seafood pastas are always fresh. The complimentary bread basket is delicious but be careful not to get full on that. Make room for the huge plates at carmines. The appetizers and desserts are equally huge and tasty. The Calamari is scrumptious and the gigantic "titanic" cake is out of this world.
