I have been bringing my pets to this office for many many years now. I can't possibly say enough positive things about this office. There is absolutely nothing negative I can find and I would travel miles and miles to go to see them, as I do now. They are very informed and up to date on procedures. They have done many surgeries on my cat and each time I feel very comfortable in their care. They definitely know how to handle emergencies. They have early and late days. They are open on the weekends. They are very honest about the outcome of their patients. They are caring and affectionate to all of the pets. They are truly kind and you can tell that they feel for the owners as well as the pets. It truly shows that every staff member understands that these are not just pets to us, but they are family, children and part of our life! To me that makes all the difference in the world. They have done so much for me and given me so many years of love with my cat that I would not have without their help! I am truly grateful to them.

We discovered Turkois a few years ago. Its a great restuarant with delicious food. My husband and I particularly like their grilled meats and mixed grill combinations. The meats are flavorful and are served with a delicious rice and bulgar pilafs. We also enjoy the Shepherd's salad filled with tasty feta and fresh cucumber. The bread that comes to the table before the meal is really incredible as well. The service is fast and friendly and their lunch deal is very good. They have a belly dancing show on Friday and Saturday evenings. We have never attended but imagine it is fun and understand that reservations are required for that. The restuarant is family friendly (our 5 year old loves their chicken fingers).

Three Boys from Italy, a small restaurant on Route 59, has BY FAR the best chicken parm in Rockland. I have been eating there for years- and, while it is not 100% consistent, when it is on (which is almost always), it is great. The pizza is also exceptional.
The only drawback to the chicken parm is the salad is just okay, and VERY basic, and the bread leaves a lot to be desired. The pasta (choice of spaghetti or penne) is great, and the chicken parm makes up for any other letdowns.

Mandarin Gourmet has been at its Route 59 location for years. I used to go with my family many years ago, and recently began going back once in a while for lunch. The food is solid, not spectacular, but the people are SUPER nice and the sesame chicken is great. Occasionally another dish will be a huge home run (i recently loved a dish of kung po chicken).
I wish there were a 3 1/2 stars option, as that is what I would give MG. The sesame chicken is a 4 1/2, the service is a 5, and it is a business that I am glad to see stick around and hope it continues to succeed for years to come.

The Citrus Grille looks very unpretentious from the outside but that belies the quality of the experience you will have once inside. The restaurant is small but therefore very intimate. The food is excellent as is the service. A great place to go for a special evening.

I remember when this pizza place opened. I have been a customer since that day. They have a great menu. Anything goes. You can even ask them to substitute anything as long as they carry the procuct they will make it for you. I drive all the way from Nyack to get good pizza here. It's well worth the trip. They are very friendly. They have quite a few tables to eat at. Their parking lot has ample parking.
