We used Security & Guaranty Abstract Co for the closing on our home purchase. I was very disappointed in the experience.
We had everything available to them a full week before closing. The day before we were to close they still hadn't done all the paperwork. They couldn't even give me an estimate of how much money we needed to cover the cost. My mortgage company was EXTREMELY frustrated with them. Since my bank isn't local, we just ended up having to had a large sum of money wired to them and they had to issue us a refund check after closing.
When we showed up at the closing the woman acted like she was doing us a favor, instead of providing us with a service that we are paying for. We still had to wait an additional hour past our scheduled appointment time for her to get everything done.
We won't use them for our next home closing.
