I have made two fairly pricy purchases as this location. Both items were custom. Both times, the service I received was excellent. My wedding set--we purchased the stone and setting from this location--is unique and gorgeous, and it appraised for much more than double the price I paid. I saved a significant amount of money there.
The second item I purchased last week. I had ordered a custom cut stone from a gem cutter and was looking for a setting. The stone was very large, so my options were limited to only one setting. It was gorgeous, but expensive, thus I decided to do some more shopping. But after visiting another store I had done business with before, getting a bit of a runaround, and receiving a price quote of more than double the quote I?d received at The Jewelry Factory, I went right back and made the purchase. The ring is GORGEOUS, and the jeweler did a fantastic job setting it. This was no easy job, so I was extremely pleased.
You can bet I?ll be back again. And that other store...? I won?t waste my time again.
As far as the appraisal goes: It didn?t appraise for double, but a custom ring doesn?t qualify for the guarantee. It still appraised for significantly more than I paid (including setting charge). Therefore, it was still a good value.
