I'm actually *shocked* that the last two reviewers gave this place a good rating!
Forget the horrible service! I was absolutely appalled and disgusted by the unsanitary conditions when I visited Central Nails... and I am actually going to report them to the Health Dept, that's how bad it was. I went in with a friend for a pedi and the woman must have called my nail tech to come in to do mine as she sat down to do my feet with luke warm, 'plain' water and it literally took her 10 minutes to do the job. Not only was it a terrible job and my feet weren't anywhere near smooth, but it was quite obvious that she did not want to be there. (I didn't even tip her for the terrible service and quality- at which she actually seemed angry that I didn't- sorry lady, I don't tip for a job I could have done better with myself)
State law requires that all tools be sanitized and only used on ONE customer. The two nail techs attempted to use the SAME equipment on BOTH my friend and I (I shudder to think who else's feet there were used on). In fact, my tech wanted to use the same razor to remove calluses on my feet as was used on my friend! The use of razors is ILLEGAL in PA nail salons.
Run as far away from this place as you can. Hopefully they will be investigated and shut down. God knows how many infections they've caused!
Pros: NONE!!
Cons: UNSANITARY, unqualified, terrible service and quality, etc!
