One of my dining companion's likened the look of La Crepe as having been dropped here from right out of paris. It is lovely! We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery, the company of the other tables...all in all the ambiance was there. The food however, was another story. As a fan of french food, I know what to expect, however theirs was billed on the menu as french with that New Orleans flair using local ingredients to add interest, but not effectively. Many items sounded delicious, eye considered getting the crab crepes, but opted for the chicken with a light wine, curry sauce...seemed like it would be a flavorful choice (and I love curry). Not quite. It was BLAND! not enough curry to taste let alone smell. Another friend got the crab crepes, there were TERRIBLE!
Pros: Lovely spot, great wine and of course, DESSERT!!!!
Cons: fries were mediocre, food was blah
