This museum is expensive for what you get out of the deal. It's $14 for adults and $8 for each child. For that you get to look at some old locomotives which gets old fast for the little ones. If you are gonna visit wait until the kids are at least 10 years old. Save your money and go to Port Discovery instead or just take a ride on the metro or Marc train.
