The staff is friendly, and they don't mind if you sit for a while (just leave a nice tip!). Lunch consists of light items like croissants, baguettes, and salads (the baguettes, which are usually very fresh, were the only bread I could eat coming back from France--even good grocery store baked bread tasted like cardboard). Dinner has a totally different concept--they serve small plates tapas-style. You'll want at least two. The food is all very high quality, and definitely worth having once in a while--now that I don't live in Ann Arbor, I stop in for lunch or coffee almost every time I visit.
