Think Twice 11/26/2009

Steven Klein is a competent instructor but he has a very unhealthy fixation on young women in his class. "Holly Hunter" sounding voices are a definite preoccupation for him in his classroom in the U-District of Seattle. Aspiring wannabe female lawyers will be subjected to a learning environment that will make them uncomfortable until they confront Mr. Klein with their quickly acquired verbal judo skills along with the mildly adversial demeanor to make a point with Mr. Klein. If you worked for him, you would be filing a harassment complaint. However, he is self-employed, and the only real recourse is filing with the Washington Bar for any complaint to have teeth. Of course, just have a little bird drop a dime on his misbehaviors to his wife is potentially far more effective. However, Mr. Klein will make his liberal bias well-known. His tangents are another big distraction from the mundane topic of logic games and LSAT skills. If you are in the military, his protracted opinions on the "good war" in Afghanistan are another distraction from LSAT subject materials. His serious diatribes on the Iraq War and Bush idiotacracy are yet another distraction from the LSAT. I am emphasizing major distraction! Unless your law school is a political indoctrination institution of higher learning, the unsolicited opinions of Mr. Klein are not a noteworthy contribution to your LSAT preparations class. In fact, Mr. Klein will use the unrefined art of liberal social ostracization to isolate any perceived conservatives in his classroom. Liberal political studies should be for the political science majors on the prelaw track, not for LSAT test takers. Mr. Klein is not stupid, but his "remorse" for stepping over the well-established norms of professional standards of conduct are cause for concern. If you can take another LSAT course at Kaplan or elsewhere, you would be well advised to probably avoid the overly opinionated and even potentially hostile classroom environment of Steven Klein, Inc. more
