At the Senior Center of West Seattle everyone is welcome. Senior or not; member or not. Their website is http://www.sc-ws.org . Fitness, wellness, exercise classes. A Nintendo Wii. 4 hot lunches per week; sandwiches, Fridays. Foot care, dental, music, dancing, crafts classes. Continuing education classes from SSCC. Legal help and senior rights counselling. Trips (gambling and other). Movies, Meals on Wheels, Computer lab open to all with 10 PC's and 1 Mac (high speed internet access). Social events (day and evening). Lauren Petrie plays keys and sings 2 evenings a month. Lots more...see website. And finally....the thrift store, Stop 'n Shop, 4504 California Ave. SW. has gone upscale a few notches.
