Decent, considering the price 11/30/2008

Good: The price is terrific, and the service is always rather friendly. For lunch, I liked the China First Chicken in Chef's Special Sauce.. Bad: The quality of the food is generally mediocre, sometimes better, sometimes worse For lunch, didn't like the Lemon Almond Chicken. The breading always tastes a bit doughy, as much as I want to like it.. Improvements: Cut out a bit more of the fat from some of the foods, and fry some of the foods a bit more.. more

Not so good chinese food 3/23/2006

China First is a Chinese fast food restaurant to me. Being a Chinese, I don't like the food there that much. The sour and sweet chicken I tried there are so bad that I don't want to have a second bite. It is not like that I don't enjoy Chinese food in general. I do like the orange flavored chicken in Panda express. There food is not expensive though, about 4 dollar for lunch. more

mediocre Chinese restaurant, but cheap 6/30/2005

This seems like an OK place to stop in for a super-cheap lunch of Chinese food, but I can't recommend it very highly. It's always kind of crowded at the cheap lunch hour, and while you do have a few things to choose from off the menu, none of them are great - just average-quality fried rice, OK sweet-and-sour, etc... There are much better options nearby for just a couple dollars more. more
