If I could rate NO stars, I would - they are not interested in you as a person and/or family. They don't take responsibility for their grounds, equipment, or units. If something stops working and you have to foot a bill for, they dont care. My living room heater stopped working for almost 2 months, I've had to use the heat in my bed room and the stove to heat my apartment. They took NO responsibility for the extra cost even after being notified 3 times of the issue. Even after living with this faulty equipment that they have knowledge of, they still expect you to pay 100%. And the rent better be on-time or you can expect an eviction notice a week after the actual due date. I referred a friend to live here and her unit had roaches (i've seen them with my own eyes). While I do not have bugs in my unit, they took no responsibility or even offered to help her exterminate her home. She had to pay for an exterminator out of her own pocket and they refused to reimburse her. With a referral, the current tenant is supposed to receive a $200 Visa Gift Card - they offered her to keep it for herself instead of giving it to me as stated in the agreement - I thought that was kinda of shady. We decided to split it anyway... Even though they all seem nice and helpful during the sign up and deposit process; the Management is very cold-hearted and unreasonable once they have you in their files. You are just another person in one of their over-priced units they expect the utmost respect from, but give you NOTHING in return... BUYER BEWARE!!!!! more

Definitely Keep Looking 6/21/2006

I also lived in the Coronado Springs tower in 2005, and everything the previous poster said is right on. The building is definitely unsafe for women -- I was constantly bothered by aggressive creeps and never felt safe in the elevator or common areas. Plus, the more destructive tenants liked to break or disable the security door -- which was almost useless to begin with since people were always letting sketchy characters into the building 24/7. The housekeeper is a sweet little old lady who does her best, but she couldn't keep up with all the filth (some of it unmentionable) the revolting tenants left everywhere, so the building is usually pretty dirty. There's drug activity in and around the building and the surrounding neighborhood is depressing and unsafe. On one of the many occasions when the fire alarm went off for no reason, I had to vault over a recliner someone had left out on the seventh-floor landing that was totally blocking the fire escape. I told the management about it and they were dismissive. No matter how harmless the place looks at first (the surrounding grounds are fairly pleasant and at first glance, the complex seems family-oriented) don't rent here. more

Don't Do It!! 10/27/2005

I rented a small one bedroom apartment from Coronado Springs this summer and it ended up being a complete disaster. It was the worst experience I have ever had with apartments. I rented in a tower and in the elevator, you get lucky if there isn't urine or vomit on the floor. People are extremely rude and harassing. I got sexually harassed by many of the scum ball men that live there and the management did absoluetly nothing about it. more
