Best Irish Pub in the Cities 8/18/2005

I thought that the Liffy was a nice Irish pub. I feel more comfortable there than at some of the other Irish bars in the twin cities. I am not in the neighborhood that often, but if you are at a game, a show, or a restaurant downtown, the Liffy is a good place to stop for a drink. more

Saint Patrick Approves. 8/18/2005

It is rumored that the interior of this place was built in Ireland and then shipped here...whether true or not this place has a great atmosphere, decor and friendly staff to boot. They just built a new patio that is packed even on a Tuesday evening and has a decent view of the river valley and downtown Saint Paul. The rueben sandwich is to die for. Standard irish brew on tap at all times. Parking sucks...it's kitty corner from the excel center. more
