I have been taking my cars to Tom and Mike at Shepherd Square Tire and Auto for almost as long as they have been open. As a woman in a large city, it is important that I have a mechanic I can trust. I have always felt that Tom and Mike have treated me as they would want their daughter or sister treated.
They have never tried to sell me a service I didn't need, they always try to find me the best deal on parts, and if they know that they can't match a competitor's price, they will tell me that. I might pay slightly more (but not much) for an oil change at SST&A than I would at one of the chain stores, but I know that I am not going to have to deal with the famous up-sale and I know that the work will be performed well. When I have had other problems, they have quickly fixed them and I have had no complaints.
It may seem like a little thing, but one of the nicest things about this shop is that they have a wide selection of magazines. When you have to wait for a oil change, it is so nice to be able to pick up a People or In Style instead of just Car & Driver (don't worry, guys...the car mags are there too). I am quick to recommend this shop to friends and everyone who has tried them has become a loyal customer!

I called Chris at 7 a.m. and he answered. He gave me an estimate cost and estimate time of arrival. Both were right on target. He was thorough, testing the battery, starter, etc...and showed me every step of the way what he was doing and why. Superb. Reliable. Experienced. Professional. Thank you for saving me!! I will definitely keep the phone number handy and will refer you to my friends.

I would recommend them. They've been in the area for longer than I've had a license. I've taken my car to them a few times and found that they were honest and quick, unlike most snakey auto repair people. If I had another problem with my car, I'd likely go there again.

Have dealt with David & Jackie for many years. They have always been straight with me and those that I have recommended to them. Never performed work that was not needed and many times saved me money on work that I asked for but was not needed.
Will continue to do business with Steiner Automotive and recommend them to anyone that asks for an honest and fair mechanic.

As a female, I am always concerned about car repairs. Bryan's Premier Auto Service eased my concerns from the moment I arrived through all of the repairs. They explained the repairs needed in detail. For the first time, I have found a very honest and reasonable repair shop. The service was above my expitation.

I have a Car Care Service Plan from Fidelity Warranty under the contract number 18341088 which I paid for when I bought my car at Archer Volkswagen in Houston, TX on May 14, 2005.I scheduled my 2004 Jetta for the 20,000 miles maintenance at Momentum Volkswagen in Houston, TX on Thursday July 3, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. The 20,000 mile car care coupon says OIL CHANGE WITH FILTER REPLACEMENT, TIRE ROTATION, REPLACE DUST POLLEN FILTER The people at Momentum told me that I had to pay the difference for all the other check points they were going to perform in my car. I immediatly talked to a representative of Fidelity Warranty, who adviced me to tell the service advisor and the service manager that they should talk directly to Fidelity Warranty in order to deal with this issue.The service manager at Momentum, Mr. Derek Bennet, did not even try to contact Fidelity; he just said that the coupon was Archer's and that was only worth the oil change - he mentioned an amount about ninety dollars.When my husband bougth the car, he specifically asked if we could take the car to any other dealer for the scheduled maintenance, we were told that it was a Volkswagen and that we would receive service. Unfortunatley today was not the case.It is worth noting that for the 5,000, the 10,000 and the 15,000 miles services, I took the car to Momentum and they received my car without a problem; I only had to pay the difference for synthetic oil. I do not know why they changed their procedures regarding this contract. They don't care.

I came in on Friday, 7/3, only to find out that I had a 2 hour wait, so I scheduled an appt. at 11:30 am for the next Monday. When I came in as scheduled on 7/6, and after waiting 20 minutes in line, I was told my appt. was 7/13! I was there on my lunch hour, and the gentleman waiting on me understood that the person scheduling me on Friday had entered in my appt. on the wrong day, but he nevertheless assured me the work could be done then, and, sure enough, I was out in 30 minutes. I appreciated his understanding of the situation and the expedition of the work on my car. It saved me a third trip!
