Wonderful Museum 3/28/2006

Lots of Natural History comes alive here. Great. The entire family will enjoy. The site of school field trips for children and lots of educational studies come from visiting here. Quite large with a great exhibit to be seen. Location is not really a plus but it is still worth the trip there to view. more

Dallas Museum Of Natural History 8/30/2005

I highly recommend the Dallas Museum of Natural History for a day out with your family. There is lots to see and explore at this museum. My kids especially enjoyed the Texas Dinosaur exhibit and Ice Age Dallas. This is a great place for kids to have fun while they learn. more

The life that once roamed 7/22/2005

Since 1936, scientists at the Texas Museum of Natural History have been working to show the natural diversity of Texas. Popular exhibits include the Leonhardt Lagoon Nature Walk featuring birds, insects, fish, plants and trees in their natural habitat. The Texas Dinosaurs exhibit is a must-see with its massive skeletal fossils. The Trinity River Mammoth, fossilized in the Ice Age Exhibit, is believed to have roamed the nearby riverbed 20,000 years ago. more
