The fish from here is so fresh it will make a pass at you :) They have so many kinds of fish dinners here available for you dine in or carryout. It has a down-to-earth atmosphere here and is located right in the heart of Evanston. They sometimes have a Blues or Dixieland band play here to help with the ambience in this place. It's quite roomy inside, the prices are fair and you actually can find either free or metered parking most of the time around here.

Davis Street Fishmarket is one of my favorite places in Evanston to eat. Fresh oyster bar and fresh seafood are nicely displayed as you enter. The casual dining room lends itself to a friendly relaxing atmosphere where friends meet to enjoy the fish special of the day or a cup of the most deliscious Chioppini I have ever had. Most of the dishes are cajun inspired.

Davis Street Fishmarket is the place to go if you're craving seafood in Evanston. The fish is fresh and well seasoned. The menu is listed on a blackboard and the atmosphere is festive. The prices are reasonable so this place is an incredible value. Thinking about the crabcakes makes my mouth water!
