WOW - This was my first time at Mantra. After buying a dinner for 6 at a fundraiser, I was excited to use it. We arrived on Saturday evening with a group of 6 and were seated promptly although the restaurant was full (we did have a reservation). The walk to our table was amazing - The place is absolutely Stunning. Great decor and restaurant music.
NOW the real WOW - THE FOOD. They offered their restaurant week menu as well as a sharing plate menu. We started off with about 8 sharing plates and one was better than the other. Goat cheese and watermelon Kabob, amazing. I'm Greek and never had a kabob this way. Garlic, Back Pepper shrimp - my favorite! Naan Pizza - better than any Greek pizza. In all, the food was just flavorful and fresh. I have never had food with this much flavor in my life. Also - our server Haswan was great. Very attentative and professional. Also, I knew there had to be a Greek person in this place, Kabobs, Greek Wine, some Greek music? The manager was Greek. It was nice to see some of my culture even at Mantra, truly is a fusion restaurant. I am one to rarely write reviews, but just had to about MANTRA. I will be back!!!
Pros: FOOD- FOOD -SERVICE - FOOD -
Cons: couldn't eat anymore

Tantric Grill is great . . . authentic Indian cuisine, with some innovative twists to keep it interesting. Their butter chicken rivals anything I had while growing up in India, and the Chicken 65 is on my list of "dishes I'd take with me on a desert island". And don't miss the kheer (rice pudding) for dessert, which is superb. The luncheon buffet is excellent, but I'd recommend it as well for a perfect evening meal venue (especially if you're doing a theatre or other Boston performance; the convenient location can't be beat). Atmosphere is also a draw: striking decor and a very nice bar with interesting offerings. Great service to boot. Highly recommend.
Pros: Authentic Indian cuisine, excellent service, great bar

We often head in town to enjoy the city and always visit the Parker House. Its quite a special place where we always feel as though the staff is welcoming us to their own home. Be sure to take time to have breakfast in Parkers Restaurant as we rate it best of any hotel we have been. If you like history you will love Boston and the hotel is right in the heart of all major historical sites.
The beds are wonderful and much of the historic feel of the hotel still remains but you dont sacrifice any services or things we all like today.
We would choose the Omni Parker House every time we visit the city without question its a genuine Boston experience.
We even recd special gifts for booking online from Omni and even special coupons for weekends after signing up for the select guest program.
Pros: Location, Food,Bedding
Cons: No Pool

I am shocked by any negative reviews of Mela after our outstanding experience : My husband and I had one of the best meals we've EVER had in Boston at this restaurant. He is especially hard to please with both a serious gluten and dairy allergy set, and Mela catered to his every request. Food was SPECTACULAR and the service was tops -- we had a waiter / waitress at our table within seconds of a request. Food did not arrive super fast, but clearly this was because Mela is not the kind of place that has lots of dishes just gurgling in the back room for days... everything tasted so fresh (we had the mushroom lamb and the coconut beef). It never felt slow, but this probably isn't where you should go if you are in a rush to get through dinner. You won't regret it.
Pros: Service, attentiveness to gluten and dairy allergies, freshness of food

This place is by far the best Indian food in Boston. The prices are reasonable, portions are good and the food is tasty. I love the naan bread and mango lassi. My husband gets a different chicken dish every time and I get lamb. We always leave happy.

I have been going to Bombay Caafe since 1998 and it is almost 5 years now. The lunch buffet, even though is not worth raving about, leaves you satisfied because of the incredible price and the quality of food which is quite good. The people are great and if you want better food, just come at night during dinner and try the kormas or the tikka masalas...great all around for everyone!!

I stayed at the HIlton for 1 night although i've been to their Irish Pub at least 3 times before. I must say that my stay there was very pleasant. The room was cozy and more than adequate. The service was very prompt, polite and swift. The hotel is located right next to the Airport and attached by a bridge towards terminals A & E. Logan Airport is also located on the Silver Line on the T. I must say that the service, ranging from the Check in Desk at the lobby, to the Pub and Restaurant, to room service and Bell service was up to the standards. For those of you that have access to the Executive Lounge, I must say, you will appreciate it. A nice view of the airport and the sea at the 10th floor. You'll have internet access via 5 desktop computers and depending on the time, there will be food serves ranging from continental breakfast to entrees evening time. Make the Hilton your destination if you need convenience, comfort and a bit of luxury!
Pros: Conveniently near the airport, lavishly decorated, brilliant service.

I am a HUGE fan of chaat, and hailing from India, especially Bombay ,know good chaat from bad. I highly recommend the dahi bata puri here as well as any other chaat (under appetizers). For the adventurous, this restaurant serves many Indian dishes that you will not find in the average Indian restaurant, for example coastal cuisine. I would recommend the kheema sali. The bhindi aachari is also my favourite. I have been to this restaurant twice and would go again..especially for the chaat!! The only downside..its a little more expensive than i'd like.
