I needed a rental car after i was involved in a collision. The rental was covered by the woman who hit me. Both Commerce insurance company and the Autobody recommended Enterprise, so thats where i went.
Someone from Enterprise was supposed to pick me up from the autobody where i was dropping off my car, and they were supposed to call me 10 minutes before they left to pick me up. They didn't do either of these things. We called over there 20 minutes after they were supposed to get me the man working told me that he was the only one there and they weren't able to leave the office. Someone from the autobody ended up giving me a ride, so it wasn't a big deal.
I was only supposed to get a "compact car" but they only had two cars on the lot, a Ford Explorer and a small Pickup Truck. I ended up getting an automatic upgrade to the Explorer, which was very nice.
Approximately 24 hours after i rented the car, i got a phone call from Enterprise telling me that they sold the car i rented and they needed to switch it out with another car. Now this isn't the biggest deal, but it was a huge inconvenience seeing as i was at work, my car was parked at garage a few blocks from my building and i had already paid the parking fee for the day. I was also disappointed that i was going to give up the nice rental. I called Corporate Customer Service before i agreed to have the car switched out and was able to get an equally nice car after the switch.
Overall, the service was not the worst, but i would rather not deal with them again.
