I love this place! You'd think that all Best Buy stores would be the same, but they're not. Compared to the other location in Birmingham, this one has a better selection of computers, music, and movies. The prices are great, and the staff is always eager to help you find what you need.

Perry Computer represents Birmingham's best place for Macintosh computer expertise and assistance, however. They have friendly, patient, kind employees who know their Mac's inside and out. Appearance Car Audio is a great place to get your windows tinted. They tinted a friend of mines windows not to long ago and they did an excellent job. The price was around $70 which is not that bad. They also sell and install car stereos, alarms, keyless entry, etc.

The key thing to understand is that the New York Times does not directly run or contract with a distribution service in Birmingham, Alabama. So if you are moving here and want to get the newspaper, the Times staff usually can't tell you how to get their own newspaper in Birmingham, even though it sells in every newstand. Home delivery comes via a separate outfit "National News Service". They charge pretty much the same as the Times anywhere else, and delivery is reliable.
