I have been shopping at Publix grocery store for about two years now and totally love their foods, service, selection and all. This store is just a tiny bit higher than another local food chain in our area but pretty competitive and Publix has awesome sales.
Every week, there is a buy one get one free sale on a huge list of items. The meat selection and produce is always fresh and high quality.
I am totally loving Publix. I wish they would offer double coupons just to sweeten my life but all is well and I love Publix !!

Bruno's offers the finest selection of grocery items available in Birmingham. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh. Isles are wide enough to navigate without bumping elbows with other shoppers. Can goods, bakery items, fresh seafood and quality cuts of meat are always in side Bruno's. The store is clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. There is always some one ready to help with those hard to reach top shelf items.

I found this Publix on accident. I was driving around and just happend to find it. I immediately went inside with my coupon box in hand. It is laid out different then the Publix where I normally shop but I did not have a hard time quickly finding what I needed. They had more coupons and rebate forms in their store than I normally see. The store was very clean and the staff that was stationed through out the store was very friendly. I had a fairly nice cashier but she didn't speak with me much. I like it when the cashiers are more interactive. I was charged more for a product and their policy is to give the product to you for free. The ladies at the service desk were very friendly and happy to comply. I will return when I can.

This Winn Dixie is the closest one to my house since the closings. I find myself at this store about twice a month. The produce is always fresh and crisp however there is one produce employee that will tell you his family history if you are within ears length. The shelves are usually faced out and in stock. The store is fairly clean and updated.

Andy's Farm Market is located in Vestavia on Rocky Ridge Road. While a small store, they have most of the staple fruits and vegetables that you would want. Their foods are fresh from the farm, and you can definitely tell the difference in the quality between Andy's foods and grocery stores. They only carry seasonal items, and thus are closed during the winter. The prices for the fresh foods are also usually the same price or cheaper than big grocery stores.
