Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts

I have been a loyal JoAnn Fabrics shopper for years and have always received adequate customer service, but the Crossroads store is awful. In the past 3 transactions I've had with this particular store, my fabric has been at least a yard short on a 5+yard cut each time. When I have returned to point it out, I have been accused of cheating the store and trying to steal fabric. When I spoke to the manager, I was even more put off. He treated me like a thief, too. Even when I pointed out that my fabric was cut short before I paid for it, he acted like I was trying to get something for nothing. I just want what I pay for! I will NEVER shop at the Crossroads JoAnn Fabrics again. The employees cut my fabric wrong and then blame me for their incompetence and rudeness! more

i come to jo-ann's primarily for yarn. they have regular sales here on common brands of yarn - lions, red heart, bernat, etc. it is great to stock up on yarn when they have their sales. the selection is bigger than michael's and often cheaper. the only critic is that they don't have specialty yarns like lace or fingering weight or silk \ cashmere blends. for those yarns, you gotta hit up the specialty yarn stores which are very expensive :( more

This company has NO customer service ! I received a lovely gift from my sister - about $75. of product from joann.com. I already owned some of the product and so went to my neighborhood store to return it. - NO WAY. They are two entirely separate businesses, I am told. SO I have to pay shipping to return to the website. Sooooo.... I go to the website. which says that they will credit the original credit card - which I don't want 'cause I don't want to tel my sis that I am returning her gift ! Soooo, I write to customer service (email from the website) and never receive an answer. They also tell you on the website NOT to write again - they will get to you ! I gave away the duplicate items to friends and will NEVER EVER shop in any Joann's again. Do they really think that I can't get everything I need and want in loads of other places ??!! more

JoAnns is my favorite of the chain craft stores. They seem to be better organized and cleaner than Michaels and i find the employees to be friendlier and more knowledgable as well. This is a fun general needs crafts store - where else can you go for fabric, ribbon, thread, art supplies and home decor all under one roof? Definitely get the 40% off coupon - they usually have extras in the store if you're unable to score one. more

This is a wonderful craft store and one of the only ones around that carries fabrics. It certainly gives Michael's a run for its money. My wife loves it and visits it whenever she must work on crafts for kid projects that she gets involved in. Don't go without the coupon! Good place to go to find all sorts of craft items at reasonable prices. more

Check you mail and/or the newspaper for Jo-Ann's coupon for 40% off. In the Crossroads Mall you can find a huge Jo-Ann Superstore. Inside you will find fabric galore, everything you might need to sewing or knitting. There are a ton of arts and crafts supplies and lots of other fun treasures. What is really nice is that if you are a crafter and you couldn't find want your looking for at Michaels at the other end of Crossroads lot you should be able to find it a Jo-Ann's. more
