My boyfriend and I were looking for Papillon French Restaurant in Downtown and found that the name had changed to Zin. Zin actually was short for Zinfindel, our Maitre d' explained in a subtle French accent. We were the only guests there that Thursday night, but loved the open atmosphere of our booth and the devoted attention of our waiter Pepe. He recommended the Mussels in Saffron for a starter. It was by far the best I've ever tasted. My boyfriend slurped every last spoonful of broth! Next we had a nice mesclun salad with blue cheese. For the entree I ordered the Rack of Lamb which was a little more medium than the medium rare that I had ordered. But the taste was pleasing all the same. For drinks Pepe made us a Laredo version of Sangria and something called Wallbanger which we loved. We're defintely coming back!
Pros: Flavorful food, Service, Atmosphere
