Zin Restaurant

Zin's has the worst service I have ever seen. I have been there twice and both times I got the same waiter and he was extremely unfriendly, impatient and always seemed frustrated. The last time I was there was on July 21. I made a reservation for 10 people in advance and when my party showed up (on time!) we were told that they gave our table away to another party.. Then they quickly put tables together and it was the most uncomfortable seating. It is extremely over priced and not worth it at all!!! Pros: The music Cons: Service, food and price more

I and my wife arrived at Zin's on Wilcrest on a Tuesday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the decor and atmosphere. The service was excellent, the food was as good as any I've ever had. The choice of entrees was expansive and the wine list, tho short had some intriguing entries. I heartily recommend this restaurant to all who wish to enjoy their dining experience. My boyfriend and I were looking for Papillon French Restaurant in Downtown and found that the name had changed to Zin. Zin actually was short for Zinfindel, our Maitre d' explained in a subtle French accent. We were the only guests there that Thursday night, but loved the open atmosphere of our booth and the devoted attention of our waiter Pepe. He recommended the Mussels in Saffron for a starter. It was by far the best I've ever tasted. My boyfriend slurped every last spoonful of broth! Next we had a nice mesclun salad with blue cheese. For the entree I ordered the Rack of Lamb which was a little more medium than the medium rare that I had ordered. But the taste was pleasing all the same.
