Best

I ordered a salad. It was very good and the delivery was made in great time.

Worst

Over two hours for delivery because of a "mix up" and had to call several times to ask. WAY too long of a wait for a sandwich and tea. Food was ok but hard to enjoy after waiting ...

Food was ok priced. I like that they had no minimum, but the delivery time was way off. more

it took a little while to actually get to me, if you are hungry and need "right now" food, dont order, if you got a little time go ahead, it tastes bomb! more

Delivery time was over an hour, which was quite disappointing for what we received. Food was good however they did not have the beverage I ordered. Instead of calling to ask if I wanted something else they threw water in there and sent it off. It was the same price, but I would have appreciated being told that they were out of tea. more

I ordered online and chose the french onion soup and grill cheese sandwich combo. I received a call telling me the french onion soup isn't available today and all they have is tomato basil. I said ok. The food arrived a few minutes earlier than the time estimate, which was great. The grill cheese had the cheese melted all over the styrofoam delivery container and it was cold. Teh tomato basil soup wasn't bad. Definitely not the greatest, but not bad. It's sort of spicy. more

Great place for Good Food and to chill 10/16/2011

There are new owners but have kept the same food but added a few new items. I talked with the owner and his brother who are running it and they are so nice and laidback. I love places like this, it is more off a great place to chill and they are not trying to Turn Tables! And the food was awesome, try the Special. more

Tasty sandwiches in the galleria area 2/18/2009

Very good Argentinean Deli food... Excellent cappuccinos, coffees and more. Dont forget to try their daily specials, you can't go wrong with it. Also they have a very tasty menu for you to try as well. Dont miss this good spot located close to the galleria. Pros: great food more

Poor service 9/27/2007

While the empanadas are fair, the service and rest of the menu are not. I tried to order to go over the phone yesterday and was refused. I've been a customer for five years and they never once said anything nice to me, didn't even know what I like even though I ordered the same thing EVERY time. What restaurant doesn't accept to-go orders? Sadly, this place has lost its charm and one customer. Pros: Empanadas Cons: poor service, rude owner (lady) more

absolute best lunchtime sandwich shop 6/27/2007

This is my absolute best lunchtime sandwich shop. The owners are very friendly, and make some delicious sandwich specials -- different everyday. My favorite is Wednesday's philly cheese steak. They make delicious cappucinos, and they even have mate and Materva. Oh, yeah - the owners are Argentinian, so they have some local foods as well, such as savory empanadas. Pros: savory foods, quaint little place Cons: quaint little place -- it can get crowded at times! more

BEST SANDWICH PLACE IN THE GALLERIA AREA! 12/1/2005

I love this place--everything tastes great and is a wonderful deal for your money! The owners remember me everytime I come in! Only bad thing--they need a bigger building to accomodate all their customers! My favorite: the Chicken Yorktown. Pros: food, service, ambiance Cons: size of place more

Great Food 2/22/2005

Yorktown deli has really tasty food at really cheap prices. Pros: Quick, Good Food, Cheap more

Fresh Value 3/19/2003

The sandwiches are so fresh, service is excellent, salads are simple and delicious, and the prices are remarkably low -- $4.25 for a generous and very fresh sandwich, a fresh house salad with vinaigrette, and your choice of pasta, potato or fruit salad. C'mon, you don't get better than that, and you can easily pay more at Subway or Quizno's for lousy sandwiches. At Yorktown deli, lunch is all love. Pros: Fresh ingredients, Outdoor seating, Great service/prices more

Great Argentine food at bargain prices 2/5/2003

This hidden gem has amazing Argentinian daily lunch specials at rock bottom prices. It is virtually impossible to spend more than $10 here, and if you can manage that you'll be too stuffed to get back to work. Along with Argentine food and deli fare, they have gourmet coffee, tea and mate. Pros: Inexpensive more
