First Timer or Old Timers 10/3/2005

MY GIRL is back! All I can say is, beware of the lies and the many stories you hear behind the move of Wild of WAX. I can confirm and I know for a fact that owner had her data base of clients stolen by what some would call the competition. Please know the owner of WOW would never sell, misuse or do anything that would hurt her loyal clients, I'm one of them. Waxing is art and no one does this better than WOW. Women of color don't trust your skin to just anyone, they have to know what they are doing! Don't be fooled that everyone does a great job, they don't! I was very nervous and scared going in for my very first ever brazilian wax. Soon after I got there my nerves were at ease after meeting and talking to Helena. She made me feel better about the experience. She was very professional and she made the whole experience more than tolerable. I will be going back regularly to see her. After looking for the perfect place to get my Brazilian, I've finally found it with Wild-On-Wax. They are professional, clean, educated, pleasant and help you overcome any nervousness or worry!! Very professional 8/23/2005

Getting a Brazilian wax is not for the faint of heart or for the introverted. Helena is extremely professional making the experience more than tolerable. I didn't find it to hurt a bit and would recommend it to anyone who perhaps has only had their bikini area waxed in the past. Pros: professional, sanitary, fast and friendly more

Helena is great. I was apprehensive before I went, however, she made me feel very comfortable. The pain would have probably been bad, however, you can have numming cream applied before hand and it's very tolerable. I have plans to keep going to Helena. Helena was great. THis was my first time getting a brazilian wax and she really helped me feel a little more at ease. SHe was also very knowledgeable of what she was doing and was able to answer all of my question. However, the location was hard to find but they stayed on the phone with me till i found the place. Light on Pain 7/8/2005

My first brazilian wax experience was not the best, but it was redeemed by Wild On Wax. I was made to feel comfortable, and the process was fairly painfree. I felt they took their time and was very thorough - She even asked if there was anything else she could do or something she missed. Try Helena - she uses an interesting technique with Ice that really helped!! I highly recommend - and have done so with two friends who have also gone! more

Who better to get a Brazilian wax from than a genuine Brazilian?! Helena is great and always does a good job of chatting to make you feel more comfortable and keep your mind off the pain. I even followed her from her last salon to WOW - she's that good! Only real complaint is how hard the place is to find - I had to call and get someone to guide me in! Once you find it, this place has a lot of character and is very comfortable and clean without that ""sterile"" hospital atmosphere. Pros: good service Cons: hard to find more

I went today for my first Brazilian. Woo hoo! A friend of mine recommended Helena and she was excellent. For anybody who is considering it, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I will be going back! Pricing is about average compared to some other places but it's well worth it. I have been to several salons in Houston for waxing and Wild on Wax is by far the best. Helena is so friendly, knowledgeable and really knows how to make you feel comfortable. She does the best Brazilian wax and can even provide you with a topical product that numbs you to help take the edge off. WOW really is excellent! I went in for my first wax ever, a Brazilian and legs. I was practically shaking. Helena was the best! She is just like one of the girls, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She even explained in detail everything she was doing, which helped me a lot. She even to work a little later just so she could accomodate me. I have been to her a few times now and I won't stop. I have gone other places for waxing and WOW is by far the best. No rashes, long term results and total professionalism. All of the staff makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I have gotten several waxings before at other salons in Houston, but nobody has ever made me feel as comfortable as the staff at Wild On Wax. They know soo much about waxing and skin care and they genuinely care about helping you. The waxing was not very painful and the aesthetician really made me feel comfortable and knew what she was doing. overall I highly recommend WOW to anyone who is a first timer and others who have been waxed before to go to WOW....simply amazing!!! I have never had to wait on an appointment. If you make it to your appointment like 5min early or whatever they will take you right then and there. I've been going for almost a year(in June) and I recommend Selena for Brazilian waxes. She Rocks! The staff is extremely friendly everytime I go there. They've moved to a new location and I'm going there to check it out tomorrow afternoon. I love them!! more

Just okay 2/24/2005

I went to WOW for a year. I had to stop going because they run SO LATE on their appointments. First 10 minutes, next month 15 minutes.. I finally walked out the door after calling to make sure they were running on time, being told they were then waiting over 45 minutes with no end in sight. Had no problem with the girl waxing. She was great. My time is to valuable to waste sitting in there crappy waiting area with out even being offered a drink. Cons: run behind appt time, no real "waiting area more

Going for my first brazilian ever, I was so scared, and nervous, and embarassed. Meriam made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She is so laidback, she got me to relax. Overall, it wasn't nearly as bad or painful as I thought it would be. And, it gets easier the more and more you go! She did a great job, and is very meticulous! I highly recommend Meriam's work!
