I had a totally different experience today (9-3-08) from the lady who complained about this store. The store was well organized and neat. Both employees were quite polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have A LOT of shoes, plenty good name brands! While it's true that they have lots in the small (6-7) and very large (10-13) sizes, I had no trouble finding plenty in my size 9 1/2WW in every type. I bought 2 pair of Trotters ($74.99 and $69.99), and when I looked online after getting home, every other place had them for at least $10 MORE than I paid. There were inexpensive shoes and sale shoes ($15 and up) and quality shoes. I am elderly and have to buy good quality shoes now and pay for it. If you can wear cheap shoes, you can save at Payless or some place like that. If you are like me and must wear better shoes or just prefer better shoes, this is a great place to find them and find a large selection. I had just about decided Cary wasn't zoned for wide feet when I found this store. Not every shoe was available in every size, but they offered to try to order anything I wanted from their other stores. It was a little tricky for me to find because it's behind trees in a little strip mall on the right side when you are going NE on Westgate. I passed it the first time. They could use a larger sign. I will definitely shop here again and tell my fellow wide-footed friends and family about it.
Pros: variety, price, service, quantity, quality
