HELEN has been cutting and styling my hair for years now. Before HELEN I never really had any control of or confidence in my hair style. Now I get compliments constantly on my hair style and color (thanks to Mauricio!) Always a PERFECT cut and style, a tremendous sense of humor, and she never forgets my own personal hair issues. I love her!! I try to refer her as many customers as I can. Mauricio may be young but he has the color thing down. He can do my color in record time and it is ALWAYS perfect. I normally don't do these reviews but I have to say something about Xzavier. He has been cuttin' my hair for about 13 years now! I could not say enough about him! He is fantastic at what he does! He makes me look younger than I am. Also at my age I don't have a lot of time to waste. He is quick!!! Over the years he has became one of my best friends. He is always there when you need him. Very dependable! He is also a very positive person! I think that is his best quality. He is also a blast to hang with. Every time we get together I have such a good time. My girlfriend loves him to death as well.....BTW he also cuts her hair now too! Everywhere we go people know him and want to hang with him. Everyone loves to be around positive people! About a year ago I wondered into Visible Changes and wound up with Xzavier. He's been my stylist ever since then. He's very professional and highly skilled in his field. But my favorite thing is he's fast. I don't have the ability to spend hours at the hair salon the way I did when I was younger. My last appointment was at 8:30 Friday evening. I was walking out of the mall at 8:50 and no I don't get a buzz cut. That was a shampoo, cut, style and check out in 20 minutes. I've been to stylist that double book and that have people coming into chat with them which makes me crazy. I want a great haircut, pleasant conversation and get on with my life. Dangg. All that i can say is that me and my mom have been getting our hair cut there for a couple of years now and we are always happy when we walk out of there. we always look like our hair is a supermodels. Novi is the bomb. I love her to death she is one of the funniest people that ive ever meet. We stay laughing the entire time we get our hair cut. I recommend her to everybody. Well, I woke up yesterday morning and realized that I needed a haircut...BAD. It was long..like almost butt long and I can't believe it took me so long to realize it. I called Visible Changes and the receptionist was really nice and and sounded very cheerful. I'm on a tight budget so instead of asking for a Master Cutter, I asked for a Senior Cutter. When I arrived for my appointment at 7 pm, the front counter workers were a little snobbish. They didn't look up and seemed like they had attitudes. They told me to sit down and my stylist would be right with me. Needless to say, 5 minutes later, Pat called my name up to get my hair shampooed. Pat, who washed my hair, was also my stylist. She was very nice and helpful from the get go. She asked me what I wanted to have done and I replied that I wanted to have about 3-4 inches cut off with a razor cut and layered all over with side bangs. She was very helpful and recommended that I not get a razor cut because it'll make my hair look more coarse in this Houston humid weather. Pat did a great job in giving me what I wanted and she had a very great sense of humor. She seemed like she had a lot of knowledge and recommended some things while cutting my hair. At the end, we ended up cutting about 4-5 inches off and it lookes real cute. If you don't want to spend a lot on a master cutter, but want the same results, I suggest you see Pat! I have been using Visible Changes at Memorial City Mall for the past 10 years. Kat and CeCe are amazing. I consistently walk away with a fantastic color and cut, which isn't always easy as I frequently change my color quite dramatically. They are always pleasant and have, on more than one occasion, gone out of their way to make sure my appointments are scheduled as I need them to be. I will not see another hair stylist! Bernie is awesome! She is quick, and quite fabulous! My hair looks great everytime I leave, she teaches me how to maintain my hair and what products to use so that I can do my hair when I leave the salon! Trust me... you will not be dissapointed! I can highly recommend Visible Changes IF you ask for Chris. She did a great job on my hair and took the extra time to style it right. She is genuine and very nice- and she does not try to push products on you! I asked for a razor cut and she did a great job on my hair. She makes you feel very comfortable there. The young gal who shampooed and conditioned (and scalp massaged) my hair did a great job, too. So far- I am pleased and will definitely be back...to see Chris! My Master Stylist, Chris, is a MAGICIAN!! No matter what the condition of my natural hair, she makes it look terrific. Chris has been my hairdresser for over 5yrs and I trust her COMPLETELY. Whatever suggestions she makes about the care and health of my hair and scalp, I follow them, because I know she genuinely cares. I'm blessed to have found her and VISIBLE CHANGES is a great salon! Though I was pleased about my hair cut, the some of the staff were snobbish and uppity. To make matters worse, the second time I came, I received the same style, but a higher price! Though, there are associates and stylists that are kind there are plenty of *bad* apples. Pros: Great Skill more

Since moving back to Houston, I was worried that I wouldn't find another hair stylist that I love as much as the one I had in Dallas. When going to Visible Changes I am positive that I will walk away with a hair cut that I love no matter who I see. This last time though, I found the best hair stylist. He was super fun and worked wonders...so, next time you are in there, ask for Gus. Pros: Gus, good service more
