Spa service without attitude 4/25/2006

Why go to an expensive spa just to be made to feel unacceptable. I appreciate the friendly, open, and service minded care at Salon 1520. Girls , this is the place to have your bridal party makeover! There is always something to drink, eat, and plenty to talk about. I have used Salon 1520 since 1997 for waxing, skin care, manicure, pedicure with quality reults every time. The owner , Annette takes personal pride in making each clients experience the best. Frequent specials and discount certificates available. Their massage therapist, Shirley, is the best I have ever been to. She is amazing at what she does. She is good at asking questions and listening to you, and is also very personable and professional. more

Wendy must be a present from Heaven 1/29/2006

It's hard to find someone that does terrific nails in this city. However, to find someone who surpasses all others that I have had do my nails was something I had stopped hoping for. Then, a friend reccomended Wendy, and I can't help but sing her praises. She uses a safer product than almost all other salons, better techniques (no drill, no rank soaking liquids), and all with friendly fun service. I can't wait for my next appointment with her each month. Like the other review here- Wendy also garuntees her manicures and pedicures (maybe it's the salon policy). Many thanks to Wendy for the best looking hands I have ever had (oh, and the comments that come from my boyfriend, well they are WAY better than the jealous comments from my friends!!). Get more than what you pay for! 1/29/2006

I've been going to Annette, the owner of the salon, for over 10 years. She is by far the fastest and most professional aesthetician in town, she also has an eye for detail. The service I receive is impeccable and all the employees are genuinely very friendly. As for parking 9 times out of 10 you can just park right in front. Shirley is a magician when it comes to massage and has great prices. Pros: priced well more

The Best Nail Artist in Seattle 1/14/2006

I have had my nails done by E-Marie Brown for over 8 years and she is by far the best acrylic nail tech in this city. I have had acrylic nails for 15 yrsor more and have had many people all over the country work on my nails but none that surpasses or even comes close to E-Marie's work. She guarantees her work though I have never had to use that guarantee for a broken nail in between fills. She is a perfectionist and does Not use a drill. If you want perfect nails all the time, make an appointment with E-Marie at Salon 1520. more

Salon 1520 offers a wide variety of luxury services allowing customers time to relax from the daily stress and be pampered. Salon 1520 more than meets the eye 1/4/2006

You will think you have entered another world when you go into Salon 1520. From the outside, a grey office building hardly befitting such a quaint, trendy, colorful boutique spa. Great prices, friendly service and free treats to munch if you have waiting time! There is a family atmosphere and treatment which you will not receive at a franchise chain salon.
