Always have a GREAT time! 1/23/2009

I don't know when the last reviewer was there, but I have had a great time every single time that I've gone to TREO. The Chef, the bartenders and the food has been great on the numerous occassions that I have been there. We have tried several of the appitizers, the burgers, and sandwiches and they have been great! I was there for their New Years Eve 2009 celebration as well....and I must say my friends and I had a BLAST!!!! We had bottle service that night and our waitress was very attentive and went out of her way to get things for us, even getting us a little late night snack!! (Their pizza is really good) I know that there has been a lot of change going on but even with that, we've always had a great time. My friends and I will continue to go here and I will recommend it to other friends as well. Pros: Great lounge (newly redecorated), Fun weekend environment, Tasty Food, Attentive Staff Cons: No bathroom on ""club"" side more

Worst dining experience EVER!!! 1/21/2009

GROSS! This is the most distasteful place in Denver. I should have known better when I almost got attached by the birds from the on-premise pigeon farm over their front door, but decided to give them a chance anyway. (***Note to self: Trust your judgement! Go somewhere else.) The building was gross. Three of us sat down when the server approached us, almost nervous, like she wasn't sure if she's suppose to be helping us or not. In our initial conversation, she must have said ""I don't know"" a dozen or so times. Everything I asked her, ""I don't know""... The food was salty!!! I don't know what else to tell you, other than, it was salty. I can even remember the ingredients or flavors. It was just salty. The worst part is yet to come. We sat at the bar in the ear shot of some employees, maybe even a manager. None of them seem to notice that there were other people in the building. They were talking about the owner and how unsatisfied they were with their jobs. Horrible! Just horrible! I don't recommend this place. The place sucked. Staff sucked. Food sucked. Even the TVs didn't work. Pros: Location, Parking Cons: Everything Else! more

great service, food and atmosphere 12/8/2008

I went to the Treo at Lone Tree last Saturday and had a blast. I was not sure what I wanted, so after ordering my first round of beer (the selection was great), I asked my server, Jill, what she would advise. Any of the hamburgers, they are wonderful, the best I have had around here. And she was right. I was grubbing and munching on french fries and enjoying the music and atmosphere. The place has the real feel of a hot night spot, with two bars, dim, intoxicating lighting and usually a in house DJ. I noticed, too, that the place has a spacious vibe that helped out. As the night went on the place filled up quick, as the dinner crowd ceded to or became the night, drinking crowd. But it never felt crowded and I never had to wait in line for another round. Jill was on top of everything, and I can only assume the rest of the service is just as on point as hers. The kitchen closed at 10, but I stayed until almost 2. Me and a few friends really liked the place and met a few girls. Overall I am glad I took the chance, cuz I'd never been there and had not heard much, but I'll def. be coming back, maybe even next weekend. Pros: The hot waitress, the food, the atmosphere more

SPOILED FOOD-INCOMPETANT CHEF-UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF 12/3/2008

O.M.G. ! Do not eat here. We came here for a Harley Davidson Poker event. What a joke. We ordered food from a young girl who did not know the menu at all. We waited 45 minutes before she even looked at us again. We asked her how long it would be when we finally got her attention and she replied ""I have no idea"" and walked away quikly. After one hour of waiting for our food my wife approached the display kitchen which seemed grossley under staffed. There were numerous plates of food under the heat lamp as the place was kind of busy. My wife asked a cook if she could just take our food to the table. He gave her a dirty look and said ""No! Wait a minute"" and then he just ran away. Shortly after she returned to our table the cook came running with 2 plates of food (not even close to what we ordered). We asked him to see a manager to which he responded ""I am the manager"". He then ran away. We finally got our order(1 hour and 15 minutes after we ordered). Now here is the real problem-My buger was ordered mid rare and came well-blackened. My wifes club sandwich had GREEN, FRUIT TASTING HAM!!! We left enough money on the table to cover our 4 drinks and walked out. We will NEVER come back EVER. This is the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. Rude staff, no organization, and worst of all-poorly cooked and spoiled food. Cons: bad chef, bad service, spoiled food more

Poor service, worse food!! 11/18/2008

First of all, the food is horrible. I have been here on 3 seperate occasions and each time the food gets worse. The spinach artichoke dip tastes and looks like flour and water... or Plaster of Paris I used as a child. Second, the service is just as bad. After ordering drinks (10 minutes after arrival) it took another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive at my table. Each time I ordered a drink, I had to ask twice in order for it to come. THEN, to top it all off, after spending $80 in food and drinks, I tipped the server $20 in cash and wrote in a zero for the tip. The sly little waitress wrote in $30 as her tip!!! I couldn't believe it. I called the GM and she didn't believe me. I don't mind tipping for good service, but there was no good service and she got a pretty good tip for the horrible job she did do... I had to dispute the tip with my bank, and the waitress kept her job... What a joke. I'll never go back!! Pros: Nice Lounge Cons: Poor service, horrible food, theiving waitstaff more

VERY DISAPPOINTING 10/23/2008

We've been going to this restaurant for a couple of yrs. and were always impressed with the food, price and for the most part, service. Food has always been quite consistent. Now they're under new ownership (too bad for Treo). We visited Treo Tues. (10/21/08) it was like a ghost town inside. Tues. used to be kids eat free w/paying adult and as we were being seated I asked the hostess if this was still the case, to which she confirmed yes, it is. After waiting 45 mins. and still not having any food we inquired about our food and the waitress asked if she could get some fries for us (my friend and I thought she was going to comp same). It didn't even appear as though they were cooking anything in the kitchen. They finally were getting our food out to us and dropped my burger. The Mgr came to our table and apologized and said they'd bring the rest of the food immed. and would get my burgher out asap. They were quick getting my burger out and the Mgr brought it to the table and said he'd ""take care of it.? We rec'd our bill - $35 for 2 kids meals (burgers), 2 adult burgers and our fries. I told the waitress we were told it was kids night as we were being seated by the hostess to which she exclaimed, ""we don't do that anymore."" I told her the Mgr. said he'd take care of my burger and questioned why we were being charged for the fries. The waitress returned and said the Mgr. said he'd comp my burger but that's all he'd do for us. Apparently, the new change of management has NOT been a positive change for Treo. It used to be very busy on kids nights, but there were maybe 12 people at the restaurant the eve. we visited which is still perplexing why it took so long to get our food out to us and yet another reason Treo should have been a little more customer friendly. They really screwed up the night we visited and in this economy negative restaurant service is a VERY bad thing! Rots a Ruck, Treo!!! more

Horrible food 9/21/2008

Ordered bruschetta for an appetizer - was disappointed when our server brought us a plate of toasted white bread with some tomatoes on top. It was not bruschetta. Had a salad for dinner with wilted and brown lettuce- had it taken back. Definitely would never eat here again. more

Pleasantly Surprised! 9/5/2008

I was in the area for business and I always use CitySearch to find local bars and restauants. I came across Treo, and read what everyone else had to say. I admit I was contimplating not going, but I'm glad I did. When I walked in the door I was pleasantly greated and then sat at the bar. The bartenders were very nice and even took the time to introduce themselves. For an out of towner it was a big deal of me that Amanda and Mocha were that cool! To most of you it may not seem like anything special, but when you don't know a soul in the state, it was awesome to be treated like a regular. The ladies recomended that I try one of ""The Best Damn Burgers"" and it was really good. The food and drinks were resonably priced and well worth it. I tell you what, the next time that I am back in Colorado, I'll be sure to stop back by. Thanks Amanda and Mocha, for making me feel like I was at home!!! Pros: STAFF, FOOD, DRINKS, LOCATION more

We had a blast! 8/18/2008

I have never been to this place but have heard some mixed reviews. A group of us went in on a wednesday night to find that they had, karaoke. buy 1 get 1 free burgers and $2 beers! You can't go wrong with that. The food was great and the staff was awesome, and not to mention good looking! We will be back for sure and I recommend it to everyone in the area. Pros: karaoke. cheap beer. cheap food more

Will never return... 7/4/2008

I've gone to Treo a few times [including when it was still called ""Stallions""], and every single experience has been negative. The food is average at best. There have been a few occasions where it wasn't terrible, but still not worth the price. Then there have been times where I've sent it back because it either was undercooked/overcooked, cold, or the completely wrong order...\r But the thing that really ruined the place for me was the staff. I've worked in restaurants, and I can say that Treo is the most unprofessional place I have ever been in. I've seen the owner, Yuda, acting completely inappropriately, such as screaming at guests and staff. The ""managers"" seem to always be either sitting at the bar drinking or flirting instead of doing their jobs. The rest of the staff is just as bad. One night I saw a female bartender almost climb across the bar to fight with a guest after seeing one of the male bartenders talking to the guest. Very, very trashy.\r I've returned to Treo a few times hoping that I just keep coming in on a bad night. But every night is the same. Save your money, and go somewhere that's a little more civilized. I know I will be. Pros: lots of parking, good location Cons: terrible service, unprofessional staff, food isn't very good more

You've been warned... 5/25/2008

This was our first experience with Treo. We called in our order tonight. The guy on the phone said it would be about 25 minutes. My husband went down there with about 5 minutes to spare and still had to wait 30 minutes for the food. When he brought it home, my burger was supposed to be well done, but was very rare... about 1 mm of brown, the rest pink!!! Not only that, but it wasn't hot. His chicken sandwich was cold and made incorrectly. The fries were soggy and on the brink of room temp and cold. The kids burgers were paper thin. McDonald's makes thicker .99 burgers than that. Then, we were told we couldn't use the buy one get one free coupon because they didn't have lids for the ""to go"" cups and the coupon requires you to purchase two drinks to use it. I have to say... I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not to mention, while my husband was waiting, he noticed about 3 or 4 couples come in and wait appox 15 minutes to get noticed to be seated. I think the owner is too big for his own britches and needs to focus on customer service. Won't surprise me if the place sinks within a year. Can't wait to share with the rest of Heritage at Lone Tree! I was going to show them wrong and come back with a good review, but it appears nothing has changed from their own experiences. Pros: It's close to our house, good for cheap pool nights. Cons: Poor food, horrible service. more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! 3/30/2008

Wow, Treo never fails to UNIMPRESS me. Occasionally, my buddies coax me to go with them on a Friday or Saturday. Reluctantly, I came with them this weekend. Honestly, the food is decent, but it's not the ""Best Damn Burger...Period."" I can think of about a dozen other places that are much better and cheaper! Treo is consistent with their TERRIBLE service. The staff is beyond rude and they are more interested in socializing with each other! Our glasses were always empty and WE had to remind the cocktail waitress to fill them. Not to mention, the cocktail waitresses aren't even cute. I'm not trying to be mean, but a trendy bar should have an attractive staff, it might be a better motive for me to come by. Save yourself the time, money, and terrible service, DON'T GO TO TREO!!!! Cons: staff/service, not very popular, bland food more

GREAT PLACE - OUTSTANDING SERVICE 3/30/2008

Me and my freind stop by there for the first time after hearing great thing about this place and we LOVED IT !\r the BURGER are THE BEST DAMN as they saying, they had $2 beer special outstanding service and staff that care about us and make us feel like we know them for a long time.\r We will be BACK for sure. Pros: SERVICE,STAFF, more

THE WORST PLACE EVER 3/24/2008

I was here over the weekend with some friends from work. The service was SO SLOW and our orders were incorrect. The staff was so unorganized and our waitress Taryn was too busy chatting at the bar to notice. Not to mention, the ""manager"" named Chris was drinking beers while his employees were struggling with their tables. I will never come back here, the worst customer service ever. Cons: cocktail waitresses, food, managers, pretty much everything more

the ""Cheers"" of Lone Tree 3/21/2008

PEOPLE! Let's get REAL! It's one thing to express your opinion, but you don't have to publicly berate a place just because your burger was over-cooked one time! I'm sure if someone was to come critique your ""performance"" at Wells Fargo Bank or wherever you work, you wouldn't get a passing grade EVERY day! Reading your reviews makes me laugh and makes me wonder how miserable your lives must be to take out so much frustration on an establishment?! For example: some lady said that she and her girlfriends WENT OUT to be left alone! Hmm? Kind of an oxymoron don't ya think?! If you wanted to be left alone, why not just have a bingo night at one of your homes while your husbands are out at the strip club? And to the person who claimed there wasn't any attractive people at Treo...well, I'm sure others were thinking the same thing when they looked at YOU!!! And to those who complain about Ladies Night on Thursdays...GET REAL! We all know you ladies go to those places that offer free drinks because YOU'RE CHEAP!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves for complaining about leaving a few bucks for 3 hours of free drinking! There's FREE pool, Live band with NO COVER and reasonable food for a reasonable price! The problem is, too many of you expect Del Frisco quality at McDonalds prices! If you really think Treo is that bad, don't go back! They probably don't want you there neither! You COUGARS & Gold-diggers can go to LoDo's and get Roofey'd! How about Fox & Hound where you pay $14/hour for pool and they poor their liquor with 1oz jiggers! Go ahead! Treo doesn't want people like YOU!!! But for those of you who are COOL & want a place where the staff will know your name & what you drink and treat you like family then head up to TREO! Something going on EVERY NIGHT! Free Poker every monday & thursday nights. Best karaoke show in Denver on Wednesday nights! Biggest Dance floor in south Denver! Free UFC Fights! etc! So People, STOP HATIN & START PARTICIPATIN!!! Pros: good bartenders, Best karaoke DJ in Denver, good food, live bands, free UFC fights Cons: no bathroom in the club more

WORST place I have ever been! 2/25/2008

I have never written a review of a bar in my life but after this experience I had to! The owner of this bar is the ruddest, unclassy, and inappropriate man I have ever come into contact with in my life! Not only did he shove people trying to get their coats, he actually steered his anger at a woman in line and yelled at her in front of everyone in the bar/resturant! I couldn't believe it. The lady at the coat check was also incompetant and rude as well. The drinks are way overpriced for the amount you receive, the staff and bartendars were completely uninterested in helping anyone. They were more interested in socializing with eachother. \r To top off the evening the cops were called more than twice in one evening for violence and fights. I was truly afraid of getting shot or hurt in this place!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is a place where your safety is compromised and the service and owner are beyond terrible! I have already reported this business to the Better busine$s bure@u!!!! Pros: NONE! Cons: the owner, staff, service, prices, violence, attitude, scary atmosphere. more

Scary suburban bar 2/23/2008

This place is terrible! I agree with the review that said the owner is an idiot! The club was gross and falling apart and the drinks were not good enough for the price! This place made me feel so uncomfortable, I felt like I was being grabbed everywhere I went. The cops had to come twice in once night because of the patrons fighting. The girl at the coat check was so rude. Obviously the owner doesn't read very many reviews of his place! I would rather drive downtown if I want a bad nightclub. Be careful going here, don't get shot in the burbs! Cons: All more

Excellent Food for a reasonable rate 12/31/2007

This is the best kept secret in lonetree. I have been to alot of other restaurants and the food here is fantastic. We have constantly received excellent service and food. \r \r Thanks more

Horrible service 12/28/2007

I have never met an owner of a restaurant who is a bigger idiot. I sent my food back twice to have it fixed, then the owner came out and told me I should have ordered right the first time. By the time I actually got my food right, everyone else in my party had already finished their food. I then asked for it to go, and the owner ""Yuda"" yells at me why did I order again then if I was leaving.\r I then get the bill with the group tip already put in (there were 4 of us!). I complained and the waitress said that it was the owners policy to gurantee that the staff would still get a tip for an unsatisfied customer.\r I then complained again to ""Yuda"" who then yelled at me and my friends to get the hell out of his restaurant and don't come back.\r We tried to explain who we were, and he proceeded to physically shove us out of his place.\r He's lucky I didn't call the cops on him for assault.\r \r looking at previous reviews here, apparently this type of behaviour and attitude is the norm.\r \r Pros: Close to Highlands Ranch Cons: Worst Owner EVER! more
