Well, being from Texas, I didn't have hugely high expectations from a place to be found in Providence, RI. But seriously, this was the worst food I've ever eaten. The chips (which they charge you for, unlike any self-respecting tex-mex restaurant anywhere in Texas) were stale. The queso definitely didn't taste like queso (among other things it was burnt and there wasn't much of it). The margaritas were weak. The worst part of the experience, however, was the actual meal. There were three of us who attempted our respective meals, and each of us left most of the plate untouched. The meals had only one flavor -- pepper -- and I don't mean poblano or jalapeno or something tex-mex tasting. No, everything on our plates tasted like black pepper, so I'm not sure what spices they actually put into things, but they clearly had no idea what actual tex-mex is supposed to taste like. I think it's very sad that people from Rhode Island are subjected to food called ""tex-mex"" that tastes like that. It gives the real deal a bad name. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Pros: It has a reasonably nice atmosphere.
Cons: Most of us have taste buds.
