I used Tocco to do my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures and for my wedding day. They were over 45 mins. late for my engagement picture services which made me late for the photographer. I told them that this would be unacceptable for the wedding day and asked if they would please make sure that they were on time. On my wedding day, I get to the salon and it's not even open yet. When the stylist does get there she seems a little surprised by the number of girls in my party (although this had been booked for MONTHS). She starts to rush on everyone's hair and everything looks really crappy and my bridesmaids are troopers but I could tell they weren't happy. When I checked the time, I was 45 minutes late from the time I was supposed to be at the church. I had to leave before they were even done. I was seething with anger and I was crying by the time I got to the church. I only had a few minutes to jump into my dress, take pictures with the photographer, and calm down. \r

They also kept nickle and dime-ing me. They quoted me one price and after I paid my deposit, they kept telling me that there were these extra charges that they hadn't included. I really felt like I was being cheated. My friend really liked my makeup for the wedding and decided to use the same makeup artist, EJ, for her own wedding. I told her my story but she said EJ was already booked that day and could only work her in if she had everything done at Tocco. After her hair trial, which was awful, they tried to pull the same price change on her. Luckily, she backed out and decided to go with another salon for her wedding. \r

The makeup artist, EJ, is really great and I suggest booking her separately. Never use Tocco for your wedding. It not only happened to me, it happend to my friend too. \r
