Don't miss this place! 9/21/2008

I have lived in RI for 57 years, and cannot believe that I have never been here before. I had the best pizza of my life (and I have eaten a lot of pizza!)last night. We ate outside in the garden area, and began with a special Greek Mesclun green salad. It was huge and to die for. Then, the wood-grilled "Everything" pizza appeared. Pure heaven. The crust was indescribable, and the mounds of meats and fresh veggies and cheese were the best. No room for anything else, can't wait to go have the leftovers! Pros: wonderful food, friendly waitstaff Cons: not "upscale dining', but who cares! more

BEST PIZZA ON THE PLANET 9/21/2008

I make a point to try "the best pizza in town" in every town I visit. Bob and Timmy's is without a doubt the best pizza anywhere. I wish they'd make themselves a franchise and bring it to NYC. more

Bob & Timmy's 9/1/2008

Extensive menu featuring grilled pizza with many different toppings available.\r Among other item choices are regular pizza, sandwiches, pasta and salads.\r Everything is delicious and I especially like the grilled pizza. more

great pizza, limited seating 7/17/2008

We took a friend from the west coast here and we all were very happy with our pizzas. We chose the grilled chicken and the margherita. Very tasty and good flavor on the crust. The house dressing is a thick balsamic and I believe honey mustard mix. It sounds rather nasty but is divine. We all wanted to lick our salad plates! The one true negative is that there is limited seating and we had a bit of a wait in an awkward entry way. But the pizza more than made up for it. Pros: great pizza, to-die-for house salad dressing, friendly wait staff Cons: longish wait for table, cramped entry more

Love It! 6/25/2008

Never had a better Pizza! Everyone is very friendly and the place is very cute! The place has been fixed up since the last time I was there and it looks great! Can't wait to go again! more

dirty place 6/24/2008

We went there to enjoy some grilled pizza. The service was slow. We used to go to the Bob and Timmy's on DePasquale Square. It used to be great. Thie dining room and bathrooms were dirty. The pizza dough was mushy and the spinich and feta pizza came without feta cheese. We asked about the cheese and we were told that they ran out of feta cheese. Well why didn't our server inform us when we ordered the pizza? We also ordered a bottle of white wine. We asked for a wine insulator to keep it cold. They do not have any wine insulators. This place is not like the old one. Ricky and Jose are no Bob and Timmy. if you want a clean place that serves grilled pizza go to Gepettos. more

The main word here is "fresh." At so many other pizzarias, the taste of the ingredients is masked by the salty sauce or heavily salted pie. At Bob and Timmy's, one bite into their Veggie Pie brought a delicious medley of the heaping pile of vegetables. I could really taste the distinct flavor of each veggie. I've never had a pie with fresher ingredients. Also, the mesculin salad with their homemade balsamic dressing and crumbled goat cheese was simply outstanding. This is definately a pizzaria that is worth sacrificing the convenience of delivery and going to for sit-in or carry-out. Plus, it's mighty convenient that Pastiche is just a block down the street! Pros: Pizza, Inexpensive, Cozy Ambiance more

Best Hidden Secret in Providence 4/12/2006

This is by far the best pizza I have ever had! Everything is homemade from the honey basimic dressing to the sauces and the pizza dough. Additionally, the presentation is beautiful and service is great. My favorite combination is the Mesculin Salad with Goat Cheese, the Hill Special Pasta and a grilled pizza ? Four Cheese ? Spinach and Mushroom. Sometimes I get the fresh calamari, if were really hungry. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Portions Cons: Parking, No delivery, No reservations allow more

The best 3/19/2006

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had. When ever we go to see my sister in Providence, we always go there. The only bad thing is that that they don't sell T-shirts. My son (Timmy) and I (Bob) really want one. more

Make No Mistakes - ABSOLUTELY the BEST!!! 8/7/2005

Pay no attention to the Nay-sayer...this pizza is the best in Rhode Island and possibly even the whole of the Northeast. The supremely thin pizzas are to die for. My favorite is the 4 Cheese...with double onions double garlic and pepperoni. The vodka sauce is what gives it its kick. The thin garlic bread is another fine choice. Pros: Awesome Service, Awesome Thin Pizza, Affordable Price Cons: Not one in Philly more

Blech 7/25/2005

I would rate this as one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. Wood grilled, but no smoke flavor in the crust - no flavor at all, really. Tomato sauce was salty and the mozzarella tasted like the store brand from the local grocery. Blecch! It was so bad that I'm suspect of all the rave reviews. more

Best kept secret! 10/7/2004

Not everyone knows about Bob and Timmy's, but those that have been there can speak endlessly. The pizza is the best you'll find outside of New York. Their house balsamic dressing is fab! Pros: Pizza, cozy, Inexpensive Cons: , can get crowded more

Pizza Heaven 12/4/2002

No need to look further, this is pizza heaven. Start with the addictive wood flavored crust, move to the abundent ammounts of toppings and specialty cheeses, the flavor is to die for. Try the mushroom and spinach with feta cheese, it is unreal. more
