The Party Shop

I was searching for tractor napkins that were a ""must have"" for my dad's birthday party. I called. The staff was friendly and accurately described some very snazzy napkins. They called me back with pricing and count since I would be driving a distance to purchase them. When I called the next day to go pick up, the clerk had already placed all of that style at the register on hold for me! Very impressed! The only negative was parking at lunch time. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this store for its unusual variety not found at most party stores!! more

I was shocked at the attitude of the staff working at The Party Shop in Cameron Village. This is not the same place I have shopped many times before. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I will choose other party supply stores in the future. Be sure to look at the sign next to the cash register! I have never seen a return policy like their's before. If you purchase something, make certain you will keep it no matter what the circumstances are...even if there is a defect. more

The conveniece of this store for those of us who live inside the beltline is far outweighed by all of the negatives about this store. The two women who work in this store are the most rude persons whom I have ever met - and their poor customer service skills really impact your shopping experience. My family was shopping in this store with approximately $75 worth of merchandise ready to purchase when one of the sales associates told me that I could not take photos in the store - when I tried to use my camera phone to take a picture of my 86 year old grandmother who was visiting us from out of town. My family (5 adults over 55, and me - a 32 year old professional) was astonished when this non-posted ""policy"" was conveyed so rudely. I also visited the store one week ago looking for a particular type of party plates and received a rude response when I inquired about the product. Further, the store is disorganized and overpriced. I will never shop here again. Cons: There are too many cons to list more
