The first time I went to The Kitchen, I loved it. The second time, not so much. The food was still great (I had the calamari appetizer as my entree), but we sat at our table for about 15 minutes before anyone bothered to uncork our wine. We had to flag down a busboy to get some water. Then, after we ordered, we watched people who had been seated long after us receive their entrees while we were not even offered bread. After about 30 minutes our waiter came by to say ""someone"" lost our ticket and wanted us to remind him about what we ordered--no apology!! We thought he would offer to comp us something or at least give us a free dessert...nope, he even charged us the $3 corkage fee. I was furious.
