Have to agree with the other post that said great for gay or straight!! I actually met my husband at the Cab! People are friendly outgoing and out for a good time! Not the fighting you see at other clubs very often! The staff is FABULOUS!! Drink prices could be a little better. Just sorry we do not get out there as much anymore as we would like to!! A good time whether your Gay or Straight 3/15/2006

My wife and I had never been to a gay club and my friend from work who is a lesbian invited us to the Cab. We have never had such a great time!! The Drag show was incredibly entertaining! My wife and I have never danced so much in our lives! Nobody bothered us and everyone was very open and friendly. We highly recommend the cabaret episode 2 and will definatly go back. Drinks were a little expensive and they don't have Guinness or Killians, but the Jello shoots rocked!! Pros: Inexpensive Cover, Lots of Parking, Friendly Enviroment Cons: Expensive Bar, Limited Beer Choices more

I have been to MANY MANY Drag Shows..But The Caberet Episode 2 was by far the best I have seen in a long Time Samantha Is a Beauty(I asked thier names and spelling)Christina is a little bit rough Courtney Is a Little Diva and The Black girl Talyah I thought that she was a Female She is a GODDESS and so Full of Life and Energy.The Bartenders are friendly amd Awesome... Cabaret 2 7/13/2004

I love being at the cabaret. It may be a smaller bar but the people are wonderful. Everyone seems to know each other and get along very well. New comers are treated with kindness and are always invited back. Free longnecks until 10pm are a plus on Friday. Everyone should come out and support this local bar. It's a great bar if everyone would just come out and give it a chance. We need more boys :) Pros: good parking, great service, great shows more

Great Time!!! 9/7/2003

I went back to the Cabaret for the 1st time in months!! Had an absolute blast!! The new bartender at the front, Emily, is great!! Much better than the last one (a whole lot cuter too!!!) Also glad to see how friendly the waitresses are!! Music was awesome! Great show- love the motorcycles!!!! Pros: friendly staff, not over crowded Cons: poor lighting in back more

EPIZOON....what you will find at this club. The idea of Rain is interesting if...you could see the rain. When it pours out of the ceiling it is invisible. What special effect is that? Pros: vacant, colorful, nice stuffed animals Cons: redneck, blue collar, Levi and Black Leathe more

We went to the Cab for the first time last night. We absolutely had a blast. We used to go to Connections every Sat., but since Regine left the show has been awful. The music played at the Cab is so much better than the techno at Conn. Plus who can resist the rain machine at the end of the night? We plan on coming back very soon. Pros: good music, good atmosphere, rain machine!!! Cons: bad part of town, not very crowded, not enough bois more

Show In Nashville 2/3/2003

Hello, I was at the Cab for my First time over the weekend. I was told I would enjoy the show. That was a under statement. The show was the best I had ever seen. The Fire number was great, however all your members of the case was awsome. I like the fact they make you feel welcome. Your bar and staff is one of the friendly and open to the customers and doesn't make us feel like a number or only money. YOUR WHOLE CAST WAS GREAT and the bar is a good place to hang out. The Pretty Bar 2/2/2003

I love the Caberet its the hottest bar in town. with fun people and friendly staff. I have never been to a bar that has the additude and the free feeling this place gives its visitor. Fun In Nash 2/2/2003

I was in your Bar and I found the show to be one of the best I have seen in years. All your performers seem to care if the crowd was into the show or not. You have a guy making annoucements that was welcome change to the other bars around town. The girls in the show came out and around the bar at the break and made sure everyone was welcomed. When we came in there was a guy walking around and speaking to people and making sure they were welcomed to the bar. Your Staff make us feel very welcome. This is a place I will tell all my friends in town and out to visit. Where's It Gone? 2/2/2003

Last weekend I drove past the Cab and ending up at the Box. I thought the Cab was out of business until someone at work said it was not. Needs more lighting, otherwise you can't see the building. No signs. Both establishments are out of the way, really, but we thought the Unusual Suspects were still performing at the Cab. Why did they leave? They are a good act and I enjoyed them. Great Show 2/1/2003

I just wanted to say I was in your Bar and it was a great time, other than the Bartender. She was one of the most rude people I have ever been around. I was there for a while and she talked to people short and rude and even was rude with other Staff in your bar. I then went to the person on the inside of your showbar and got drinks from there, This person was very good. Always smiles and friendly with customers and seems to care if they get waited on. Heyyyyyyyyyyy How's It going Cabaret! The cab was a very personable atmosphere. I loved the old pictures of the past drag queens. The bar was nice and clean and the staff was sweet (Heather). Drinks were pricey. The shows were very remarkable. Loved the Tina Turner rain production, funny. And much different than what Ive seen around town. Original in some way. The vampire number was interesting santana keep up the special effects. Secret, Mary J new look, like it. Few men need more. I felt like it was a lesiban bar. Missed coming on a regular basis but had a great time. Keep pushing for improvenments and add some drink specials that are reasonable. Don't Bother 12/17/2002

The only reason this club lasted as long as it did was because, it was the only so called "Lesbian bar" around town. One idea..Loose the drag show. Women are there to meet other women. Not to see men dressed up as women. Besides if I wanted to see a real show I would go to Connections. Also, the cliental is really "Red" most of them hang onto the memories of the original Cab. Please!!! Lets move on ladies. Loose the mullets and the Levis and check out a real Lesbian club like Jaded Mary's. Excellent place if you're a woman... 12/7/2002

Tonight I went to the Cab. And, well, to say the least, I HAD A BLAST!!!! Granted it was my first night, but I had a ball. The staff and the performers there are great; they are friendly and helpful, as I would expect. The drag show is entertaining and worth the time....and that is both shows. The drinks are a little on the high side, but other than that, this place is recommended. Pros: decent parking, good staff Cons: drinks are a bit high more

Oodles of Fun 11/10/2002

Halloween night was a blast for myself and friends. While we did not make it to the Cab (our insiders told us it was dead, only 20 some odd people showed up to party), the Chute and Jaded Mary's were popping. I read the editorial about the Cab posted on Oct. 18th and I believe it to be true. You can tell when an establishment really wants your business, and while the Cab is trying to superficiously imply they are into the Gay Community's concerns, it is apparent that "the family" of Gay and Lesiban's know where they are wanted and have the most fun for their money and time. All I can say is "Thank-you Jaded Mary for coming into the nightclub scene." Nashville's Old, Newest Night Club is still OLD and Stale. Get out of the 80's, re-invent the wheel, and stop pretending you CARE. Go.....Jade Mary's!!!! Pros: none, none, none Cons: cheap liquor pours, red neck clientale, out of the way more

The Cab is one of the best clubs in Nashville. The performers are great!!! Each has their own individual personality and performance style and they do not try to conform to things they are not, which is more than I can say for some of the performers I have seen in Nashville!!!! more

I've Got A Secret 10/17/2002

Did you know that in the beginning when the Cab 2 first began efforts to get "involved" in the Queer Community the gimmick was, and still is, to pretend to care about the "Children With Aids" cause. The only reason this cause is promoted at the Cab 2 is for attention. And the Lesiban football organization, The Dream Team, well you should hear what the Cab 2 says about these girls. Good thing they have started going to another club for their meetings. Honestly, the Cab 2 could care less about Homosexuals. It doesn't care about anything but "making money." Not too crowded... 8/31/2002

I was there on a Saturday Night and the crowd was slim. Personally I like a small, quite atmosphere where you can talk and cuddle on a weekend night. This is now my neighborhood bar. The food leaves alot to be desired. They need a good cook to prepare original food, not the Sam's versions they continue to serve. Yuck, but if you are not too hungry this is the place to be. I also think the owner is a doll, next time I'll give him my number. HE HAS A NICE A..!! Pros: inexpensive, not crowded, lots of parking Cons: bad food, drag queens, not enough dancing more
