Anything with more than two types of meat would be too much. The Kauai is delicious. Brownie dessert is to die for. Pizzas are big, but thin crust, so it's perfectly filling. HH prices look awesome, but I've never been able to make it. Maybe next time. more

Bland food and too much of it. Not to mention rude employees who don't seem to care what you think. Place is so dark you have to wonder what they are trying to hide. Unless this is the only place open in West Seattle don't waste your time. more

I'm seriously still overwhelmed by ""Biggest slice in the world"" so much so that it's all I can think to say right now. The pro was how can you complain about a huge ass slice of pizza for only $6? The con came in that I wanted so badly to fold it (I'm from NY, we must fold our slices) and I did, but it was so big the end fell under the weight & I had to start with a fork (this is pizza sacrilege for us NY'ers). I actually really liked the vibe of the place, it was very comfy and easy to talk amongst our large group (until exactly 9pm when the music was turned up to nightclub volume). The bar is pretty cool, it takes up about 1/3 of the whole place. Definitely wear your contacts if you want to get a good look at the dudes (or gals) across the bar, it's seriously far all the way to the other side. I've been going to Talarico's since it opened. The service has sometimes been inconsistent, but the last few months I've seen some BIG improvements. The food quality is up and the crew seems better trained. It's my new old favorite place to hang. Pros: Great Pizza and good pours more

If you like hanging out in a dark and dingy room eating really bad pizza, served by really bad people, surrounded by really horrendous drunks, then this is your place. Not a place I'd ever bring my kids. The gimmick with the pizza is that it is large, so that is what people talk about, not the quality. Management seems to be asleep at this place. We were recomended to Talarico's by a friend and were not disappointed. \r Just like the other reviewers we loved the dim lighting and open fireplaces at tables. \r It was extremely nice that they made our kids feel welcome too, and being a lounge we didnt feel the need to keep them quiet; which can be difficult at times.\r There salad and artichoke dip were both fresh, delicious and equally pleasing to the eye. \r We also had one of their seasonal unfiltered beers. I was surprised as I do not often like lighter beers, but it had the perfect balance of hops hops and smoothness.\r As per our servers recomendation we did not order a full pizza (measuring 28"" across) but opted for getting a a slice a piece. As I am bias to Waterfront pizza in port townsend. Their pizza was amazingly good with just the right combination of toppings and crust the was crisp but not overcooked.\r we ended with their skillet cookie dessert which was served in a cast iron pan still sizzling hot when brought to the table and topped with a heaping scoop of vanilla icecream. Despite not heeding the servers warning we all burned ourselves on the pan as we were fighting for the last bites of the dessert.\r Not only does Talarico's not disappoint with their food, I couldnt have asked for a better wait staff. I have heard nothing but good things about Talarico's . So I go there to get some awesome pizza with a couple of buddies and once we took a step in the door, everything went wrong. I just turned 21 only a few months ago, so everywhere I go I want to get a beer. I still have a vertical license, and I got harassed by the waitress about it. Then when we go to order food, we all get a slice of pizza each(which are ginormous) and it takes nearly 45 minutes for us to get it. I mean, how hard is it to make 3 slices of pizza; and the place was only half full. I mean, the place wasn't even busy. I am very disappointed in this place and don't recommend. Horrible service! ...this used to be one of the best places to hang out in WS but the last six months have been nothing but one painful experience after another...every time I go in there there is a sea of new faces working there and the service just gets worse and worse...my guess it was either an owner or a management change...but whatever it was it's not working at all...and what's this I hear about kids? I was there on a Saturday night, my girlfriend and i were having a great time at first. Then we could't find our waiter. He started off giving great service then we didn't see him for awhile. No big deal I had cash so i went to the bar to order us more drinks. While i was at the bar there was our waiter TAKING A SHOT!!! The rumor mill is churning a most disturbing one folks. Kids aloud in the bar until 9 PM. The coolness factor will dispurse and myself and my partner shall start taking our friends down the street to West Five. They still only cateer to the adult crowd and greed has not set hold of them. Talaricos is always packed with a great crowd and even better great food,drinks and bartenders. I hope the kids rumor is just that... a rumor, or I will have to day that all good things must come to a end. more

I've been to Talarico's dozens of times and always experienced good service. The pizza is delicious and they poor a solid drink. The crowd is mixed with different ages and races, which makes for a great atmosphere. Their sports coverage is awesome. more

Wish this place was still the old Chinese restaurant. \r \r As far as restraurants go, the menu is very limited and every time I've been there (which is more than 1/2 dozen times), they are sold out several items. Not an imaginitve or expansive drink list either. I'd opt for Paggliacci's any day over the Talaricos pizza. \r \r This would all be forgiveable if the service wasn't terrible. Yikes. The only time that I'm ever in West Seattle is for business. So I'm there during the week and I can't say that I stay out past 8:30 to 9:00 pm. But one place I love in this town is Talaricos. I'm no expert on New York pizza but as far as pizza joints in the Northwest go, this place is terrific. Great place to grab a beer and enjoy a slice. There are many reports of this place having bad service but that has not been the case for me. Each time I've been there the service has been excellent. However, the thing that I always look for in a new place is the atmosphere. And this place's atmosphere fits it's style very well. Keep it up Talaricos! Ok. I don't know about these other ppl that have been giving bad reviews. but i've been going to Talarico's for almost a yr now. I go just about every weekend with my friends and we always have a great time. We always have great service no matter whos section we sit in...Although we have our prefered section we sometimes get a different server. Even if we sit at the bar our experience is awesome. I would recomend it to anyone. I've even had my birthday there....and they treated me awesome...our server even sang me a birthday song. The food is awesome, the drinks are great! I was so happy this past weekend. I tried to call to share my joy with the management but nobody answered the phone. The hostess sat us at the bar friday night. The bartender informed us about the specials and we tried the polenta. It was fantastic. She had mentioned that you guys were going to have specials every weekend. I came in last night for triva with some friends and had a great time!! The pizza was fabulous, as usual. And I'm surprised to see some of the other bad reviews. Our server was delightful, and funny.
