THE BEST, PER A NEW YORKER 4/5/2011

I have lived in the Houston area for 2 years and the one thing I miss is a good "New York" Pizza Pie and good Italian cooking. Well not anymore, I have found the best Pizza in town there at Spankys. Saturday I ordered one and shared it with 2 other NYers' who have lived in Houston over 30 years and had a problem not being able to find a good pizza but I have to say it is agreed, this is the best pizza in town!!! more

The place for some wings! 5/19/2010

While they have great pizza their wings are something to talk about as well. My husband and I meet their for lunch every once in a while; just a great place. I am not sure what they do to their wings but they are sweet, savory, a little spicy, crispy and full of flavor; you gotta try them! more

mmmmmmmm, Spanky's! 8/9/2005

I had been dying for some GOOD pizza and if someone mentioned Pizza Hut or Domino's I was gonna punch them. My friend recommended Spanky's and I said I'd give it a whirl. We ordered a large pizza and sat down and mowed the entire damn pizza down!!! It was TOTALLY worth it. The next time we ordered we got breadsticks and they offered homemade alfredo dipping sauce. It was so, so right. If you are ever near Gulfgate and have a hankering for pizza, please go to Spanky's. It's damn good. more
