Although the food was somewhat tasty, portions were grossly inadequate considering the preparation (very simple--nothing stunning or inventive). My friend ordered shrimp pad thai (shrimp $2 extra), and only received 4 SMALL shrimp. I ordered chicken and received less than an ounce of meat. There was a $2 charge for plain white rice (which ought to be complimentary, in my opinion).
Ultimately we paid over $30 (no drinks, and excluding tax and tip) for a lot of noodles, 4 shrimp, 4 thin shreds of chicken, and a little bit of sauce that I imagine came from a big vat in the back. Others have raved about the large portions here, and they were indeed large, but only because of plain flat noodles and plain white rice, which I consider inferior goods.
Service was abysmal. After taking our order, our waiter never returned except to give us the bill.
Pros: immediate seating, easy parking, tasty
Cons: tiny meat portions, bad service
