Best

Never once that I was disappointed with Seattle's Best Coffee. I live just a couple blocks from all stores in downtown. So, it's easy to walk down there to get it. But when I'm ou...

Worst

Disagree! In a city that offers the highest quality venues in america consider Vivace, Cafe Vita, Bauhaus, and Cafe Ladro as better alternatives. These shops offer a quality and e...

Seattle's Best is Starbucks 10/14/2002

A coffee shop should focus on coffee -- not be a cinnamon roll store that decides to pick up on the coffee craze. more

Seattle's Best is the BEST! 10/14/2002

Sorry to knock the roasting flavor of Starbucks and Tullys... but even when I travel out of the country I take SB with me! They don't over roast like Starbucks and Tullys and never have I ""ever"" had abd cup of coffee hot or cold from SB...THEY ROCK! Pros: no over roasting, low acidity, inexpensive Cons: none, none, none more

Seattle's Mediocre Coffee 10/14/2002

I have never felt SBC had the quality or flavor commisurate with their name. more

Former SBC employee Starbuck's convert.. 10/14/2002

Used to be a die hard SBC fan, so much eventually worked for the company. However, of late the worst coffee I have ever had has been from SBC. Since SBC was bought out by AFC their quality and customer service is awful. What used to be the best rice/soy milk latte in the industry is so consistently awful, that I only order tea. Not to mention cafe's need a serious image and customer service overhaul. Was at Kirkland SBC twice this week, not by choice, each time at least three employees stood behind the bar chatting away, while the condiment station was disgusting with milk and napkins strewn about and garbage overflowing. It was so gross it made me feel sick to my stomach. After that even my friends aren't interested in going back. Starbucks it isn't my favorite roast but, quality, cleanliness, and customer service are always consistent. Pros: Toddy Coffee, Teas, Americanos Cons: Bad soy & rice drinks, Dirty, Poor quality control more

Not as Bad as Starbucks 10/14/2002

SBC roasts so-so coffee. It is still flash-roasted for that burned-and-sour flavor that Starbucks has, just not as much redolent of road tar as Starbucks. more

raunchy 10/14/2002

I prefer a coffee shop that does not make mochas from pre-mixed chocolate milk Pros: iced drinks okay Cons: bad parking more

Most excellent 10/14/2002

It has been awhile since we've had coffee there, but they had a wonderful selection, with the coffee being flavorful without the burnt taste that is typical of the Starbucks blend. Pros: Good product, knowledgable staff, good variety Cons: limited hours, limited locations more

Think Again.. 9/9/2002

Better prices, better brew @ Cafe Ladro... If you are thinking of a great latte or cup of coffee ... make the extra effort to visit a ladro. more

Seattle's Worst Coffee 8/31/2002

Poor roasting technique . . . generally bitter coffee, with very inconsistent services across all SBC stores. If you like adventure and inconsistent tast, go to SBC - Seattle's Worst Coffee. Pros: good variety, white chocolate Moca Cons: poor quality, biter coffee, under roasted more

Anythings better than Starbucks 8/29/2002

Great coffee, friendly staff and not at all sanctimonious like Starbucks. Pros: No starbucks ego more

just the numbers 8/29/2002

foo bar nothing to say except that indie coffee houses all over town have better stuff than SBC. At least SBC beat starbux. more

Good brew, not burned 8/28/2002

Of all the coffee ""houses"" I have tried, SBC has the best flavor. The more popular coffee joint always tastes burnt to me, and I also appreciate SBC's frequent purchase program. Locations could be more convient, with say, a drive through. Pros: Great flavor, Frequent purchase pro Cons: Inconvenient location, Few cold drinks more

Who's Voting? 8/27/2002

How can this be... Seattle's Best at the top of a coffee list? There must be a room full of monkeys with computers voting for this poll. I've had better coffee at the Zoo Tavern more

DRRRY ROAST 8/21/2002

Where is the flavor??? Special roast I dont think so,give me a deep dark roast anytime. And the cup I get at McDonalds does complement the food fast and flat!!!!!! Cons: bad blends, served at fastfood more

Everywhere but Seattle 8/18/2002

I drink Mochas and Seattles Best uses unsweetened chocolate so they taste AWFUL! Pros: Mall Locations Cons: Unsweetened Chocolate more

Hands down the best roast 8/6/2002

The best brew, the best service, the best roast... hands down Seattle best cup of coffee. Pros: Perfect roast more

always liked sb 7/30/2002

Nothing against Starbucks, but Seattle's Best is better. Much smoother blending. more
