It was very hot on Saturday evening, and my wife needed a custard fix. Scooters makes their own custard daily.
My wife wanted a medium cone and so I got her a sampler of each of the flavors of the day: vanilla, chocolate and vanilla caramel. The problem was, they didn't start scooping my (adequate) Italian Ice until I already had the custard cone and it was dripping.
Yes, I should have gotten a cup but it was a little late for that. It made a big mess in the car and my wife had to eat it so quickly that she couldn't taste the custard.
maybe we'll go again and get a cup instead of a cone. Until then, be careful about buying melting custard.
