I hate getting haircuts, but this place was great. I have long, thick, curly hair that takes time and a lot of patience to straighten. I had Jerry cut my hair and he was so good to me. The wash felt amazing and he trimmed it just like I had asked him to. Then he blew it dry straight and ran an iron over it, making sure he got every curl. He spent almost an hour and a half on it! and it really looked great, the best straightening job anyone has ever done on my hair. SO if you have curly hair, JERRY is the guy to ask for. He is great and really sweet. :) Cons: The only con would be it can be a tiny bit pricy, probably a good place to treat yourself every once in a while but not a place you'd go every month. more

I really recomend jerry, he is like Edward Scissor Hands!!! he is so cool and friendly and the way he use the razor and his techniques are super profesional and yes..he is and artist! I always had issues w stylist all my life , I have a really strange scalp, Thin hair, thick hair, straight hair, coarse hair, and grows very fast, he gave me a style that i never got it before in my life and he use only the razor and the scissors, he asked me if I wanted a cool vivid color on just one side and I was like...ONE SIDE?? and he did ...so he gave me this kind of a vivid wine color on the side and I looked so trendy he got my hair straight w the little flat iron and PRESTO!! a very European style ...the makeover did not looked like a punk , I looked like a star...I had so many nice comments about my look. OHH I love your hair..were you got it done!, hey dude cool haircut!..ans stuff like that...and by the way..at the trendy clubs....NO WAITING LINE!! Like a VIP more

i had my hair and makeup done by Jerry (Gerardo), and I have to say that I left that salon so happy. Everybody at the salon is super friendly and made me feel extremly comfortable. Gerardo did an amazing job. I had this huge mop of wavy hair with a bunch of different colors in it, and he turned it into this very modern, chic bob, and I absolutly loved it. He is very professional but still very fun, and it was such a pleasure having him do my hair. Very few people understand that I have curly hair because I always straighten it, but he made it so i can wear it either way, straight or curley. I would highly recomend Gerardo for anybody looking for something amazing. :) Pros: everything Cons: parking is always a bit tricky in rice village, just leave a bit of extra time. more

I'm a mexican-american guy with thick mexican hair. I have a hard to finding barbers who know how to cut it right. Often I get terrible haircuts and end up putting my clippers to it at home. I will say this...I thought the stylist at Vitalis did a great job on my hair. The only problem was she tried to charge me $30 more than the price I was quoted. To me there is a big difference in paying $50 for a haircut and $80...call me crazy! Pros: Cool salon, good haircuts Cons: High Prices, staff seems a little snobby more
