I had never got a Brazilian wax before and was kind of uncomfortable letting someone else do it. My friend convinced me to go with her and she took me here. I told them I really wasn't sure if I wanted to do it or not, but Sejal came and explained everything to me. She was very professional and was very upfront about everything. It made me feel alot better about it and I went ahead and did it. Sejal is very nice, and I goto her for my waxing. The process does hurt, but she tries to minimize it as much as possible. I really have not gotten it done anywhere else, so I really don't know if she is doing the best job or whatever, but I am satisfied. more

First I would like to address the lie from the review stating the facility was dark and Sajal missed hair. It is obvious to me that the paticular person writing the review is not telling the truth. Sajal's set up actually has a light (similar to the one the gynecologist uses). She is very precise with her work, as well as she informs the clients what to expect during the stages of hair growth (my friends and I see her for our brazilian waxes) In addition during there are some occasions due to hair growth (beyond her control) she allows a touch up the following week for free) I have been going for over a year. It is well worth the cost and drive. I can not help but to think the negative review Sajal was given was published by someone in competition for business. Toni Ruff at Salon Me is at the Top of her game! She's an expert hairstylist and technician in the Sahag method of cutting hair. My hair is thick, course and wavy - which has always been a challenge- but Toni is the first to ever know how to cut it into the styles I want and make it work! And the bonus is that the growing out stage is painless. I get compliments even when I'm way overdue for another cut! I had my first Brazilian wax experience with Sejal on July 31 2008 for my 25th birthday. Sejal made the experience as comfortable as possible for me; she was very nice and got the job done quickly and accurately. The process only took 15 minutes which was great with such a painful procedure. Since that day I've only gone to Salon Me to see Sejal for my Brazilian wax needs. Pros: A smooth, clean and new look for your partner/spouse. Cons: Temporary pain during the procedure and sensitivey to the area that last for at least a few hours. more

Becka at Salon Me is amazing. She listened to what I wanted and delivered 200%. I wanted layers and instead of using a technique (running the scissors through my hair instead of cutting the ends) so many stylists have used on me in the past (i think to cut time) that kills the ends of my hair, she cut it layer by layer. It's been 2 days and I still wake up like it's Christmas morning! I'm so happy with my hair right now. I will definitely be heading back in 4-6 weeks! Thanks Becka!!!! It took me 3 years of searching in Atlanta for a great salon, and I found it! Salon Me & Medspa is the bomb, and I have been a loyal patron for over 2 years. The biggest reason I have been so loyal? My stylist Toni! Not only is she extremely talented with cut and color, she is also a genuinely nice person with a great sense of humor. And no trip to Salon Me would ever be complete without seeing Steve at the front desk. Armed with his own sense of humor, he makes every visit to the salon fun! Monika Sullivan is the lady you go to if you want the best of the best. Ive been seeing her for a very long time. Her salon was once located about an hour from me...but that in no way stopped me from seeing the best. Monika is so skilled so can give you the most beautiful red, blond, brown or anything in between color. She also gives great haircuts. Toni is also up there on the list. If you're scared about trying something new like I was this is your girl! She was able to give me something a little more fun but without scaring me. Sejal gave my eyebrows an arch you cant get at some nail salon. Steve at the front desk is so wonderful and helpful. He always knows whats going on. Whenever I have a question he's the man to go to. And when making an appointment he's so helpful. So from my experience at Salon Me & Medspa I would never go anywhere else. OMG - how do you describe T.??(AKA: Toni) I've been with this woman now for 10 years and have followed her E V E R Y W H E R E!! She is INCREDIBLE! I always leave the shop feeling 100 times better and sexier and WAY more relaxed than when I came in. This is by far the best environment I've seen her in. Steve and Monica and 'Doc' along with the rest of the staff are always fun and friendly and everyone really seems to be open and having fun! This allows me to be able to relax and have fun when I am at Salon Me, unlike when I've gone to some 'other' salons. I've ended up feeling like ' just some girl' in other chairs. Now, about her creativity ...I can come in with an inkling of an idea and T. will run with it and help me to develop it. I have tried so many colors over the years and they've been BEAUTIFUL!! ALL thanks to T.! She helps to make the process of "CHANGE" a good experience and oh-so-easy! Since I've known her for so many years, I can honestly say that she really takes the time to know ALL of her clients so she can truly understand what it is they want. I've recently moved to Atlanta and was having the dilemma of trying to find a good brazilian. I read about Sejal at Salon Me and decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did!! Not only did I get one of the fastest and most thorough waxes I've ever had, she was so easy to talk to...friendly and yet very professional. I was so impressed! SEJAL ROCKS!!! I had my first brazilian wax while on vacation in Atlanta on July 23 and it was the best. I'm from New York and easily could've gotten it done here @ home but had heard about the wonderful job Sejal did and so I gave it a shot along with my best friend (her first time also). It wasn't completely painless but it certainly wasn't as bad as I expected. She was easy to talk too and so calming and took away any embarassment I was feeling. I had thought about getting a brazilian bikini wax for a while, but always hesitated because it sounded so painful. When my friend raved about Sejal, I finally decided to take the plunge. I was so nervous that I made my friend drive me so we could go across the street and get margaritas first--alcohol has to help, right? Well, as it turned out, I was running late and we had to skip the drinks. The whole thing went a lot better than I expected -- Sejal talked me through it, and somehow made the experience comfortable. I adore Sejal! I was referred to her by a co-worker and it was love at first wax. I've had a really hard time in the past finding someone who does a great job but also makes me feel at ease every time I come in. I would wait months for a bikini wax, or just do it myself, until going back to California because I could never find anyone in the Atlanta area I liked enough to go back to more than once. Sejal is the answer to all my waxing prayers. She is thorough, quick, and such a great person all around. She is always a pleasure to talk to and even makes me look forward to my next appointment. During the winter, I decided to get my first bikini wax. I am almost ashamed to admit it, but I was terrified! However, Sejal made my first experience (and each one thereafter) incredibly pleasant and painless! Now, I am a regular for Brazilian waxes and still can't believe that I had ever been anxious about waxing. Sejal personifies professionalism and has AMAZING attention to detail; however, she is also friendly and engaging making the process so easy, quick and comfortable. I have never felt like I was just another client on a schedule with Sejal. When looking for a place to get a Brazilian wax, I found Sejal through this website. Her client reviews were exceptional, and I decided to make an appointment. For over a year, I have seen Sejal on a regular basis. I have never been disappointed! Her demeanor and customer dedication makes for a very welcoming environment. I have been to see sejal many times before - she is lovely - but the last several times she has been too fast and sloppy - and missed TONS of hair. No attention to detail or making sure she got it all. The room is too dark - so no wonder she can't tell if she did. She couldn't be nicer - but needs to take a few more minutes with each client to make sure she didn't miss anything. No use getting a brazilian and ending up with patches. more

I chose SalonMe based on the CitySearch reviews. I wanted my first Brazilian wax, and made an appointment at SalonMe. Due to Sejal being gone for maternity leave, I had an appointment with Dora. Dora was quite pushy, offensive, and made me feel very uncomfortable. I won't go into the details for my disappointment because the real reason I am writing is to laud SalonMe for their reaction. After my appointment with Dora, I was still bewildered and quite upset about my experience, which was so unlike those reported on CitySearch. I wrote to SalonMe, providing details of my experience. I promptly received this response from the owner: "Thank you for contacting us and letting us know about your experience with Dora... Sejal is currently on maternity leave until the 21st of this month...Dora has only been with us for a very short time and I thank you for confirming my suspicions about her integrity and the quality of her work. Rest assured she will not be working at SalonMe any longer. I am very grateful to you for bringing this to our attention. We pride ourselves here on making sure that all of our clients have an entirely satisfying experience and I can't tell you enough how upset I am that your visit with us was uncomfortable, offensive, and of poor quality..." The fact that the owner took the time to thank me for complaining shows that she truly does care about the customer's satisfaction. I had expected excuses or justification and perhaps a coupon at best, but Monika far exceeded my expectations. Not only did she offer much more than I expected in terms of compensation, she also took action to ensure that another person would not suffer through Dora. Although I have yet to experience a haircut, manicure/pedicure, or waxing by the highly praised staff, I have experienced superb customer service, convincing me that I will be pleased in the future, and that service has earned a loyal customer.
