I went to salon JBU to see Tina after my friend had her color done with her... she exceeded my expectations a lot. Everything was GREAT, color and cut. She listens but also gives her own advice on how to make you look your best. ! I had several people comment about my new hair , I have never been happier with my hair! \r more

Maryam has been my esthetician for almost 3 years so I have followed her around. She is AMAZING to say the least. Super professional, the BEST waxing I have ever had (trust me, I lived all over the world so I have had a few misfortunes when it comes to waxing and haircuts for that matter). She is also super quick and does a great job with threading.\r She introduced me to Peter and I got the BEST haircut of my life. He is really amazing and does what suits the face. Most importantly, his haircut makes it easy to style your own hair. I am horrible at that.\r So what's better than getting two beautifying services in 1 perfect place! Pros: perfect all-around more

My brazilian wax by Maryam is the best by far and my brows look terrific. I've been seeing her for almost 2 years for Brazillian, underarm,brow and legs.Going into Maryam is always a great experience and I am recommending her to all of my friends. If you want a perfect haircut GO SEE PETER. He has been cutting my hair for the past 2 years. I have never had so many strangers ask me who cuts my hair as I have since Peter has been cutting it. Best Brazilian wax and leg waxing in bellevue 2 thumbs up! 12/11/2008

\r My Brazilian and leg wax with Maryam at Salon JBU was the best by far I was nervous to get a brazilian wax after a super painful experience several years back, but I decided it i will give it try one more time and scheduled an appointment with Maryam after reading these reviews . I couldnt believe how much less painful and how quick the experience was compared to my previous ones. it feels good to have someone to go to that makes this uncomfortable experience much easier to bear! .I will go back to her for sure. Best haircut and color 12/8/2008

I am new in the Bellevue area and I wanted to get haircut and color I was referred to peter at Salon JBU from a friend. I was impressed at how fast he was and how great my hair turned out! I liked how Peter gave me information on how to keep my hair looking good. I really felt that he cared enough to make sure I look my best. I will always refer him to anyone who asks about my hair! \r \r more

I recently had my hair styled by Shannon at Jbu and she was amazing. Not only was she very friendly and helpful, but she was very in touch with what I wanted (even if I didn't know what it was!). Originally I just wanted some plain highlights but she recommended a darker, more natural highlight with a complimenting low-light that makes my skin glow. . I will definitely be back again! more

Wow... what a difference !!! 11/15/2008

I moved to the Seattle area with my husband a while back and have been all over the town trying to find a good Esthetician. In most parts I had been unsuccessful until I met Maryam at the JBU salon. Gosh , is she extraordinary or what? I went in for a quick eyebrow wax but she did such a nice job that I ended up getting a Bikini wax and a facial too. I couldn?t get a better service anywhere else. I went to JBU in Bellevue and saw Maryam for a back wax and back treatment .She is really good and very skillful. Very impressive. Maryam is the most wonderful esthetician ever. I took my daughter for her first facial wax. she was really scared but Maryam was very patient and gently waxed her eyebrows , forehead and upper lips . \r \r I was really scared of getting a Bikini Wax specially because I'm new in Seattle area. i read about Maryam on city search and even though i was skeptical about the reviews on City Serach i went to see her and am extremely happy that i did. she is gentle,clean, professional and has a great sense of humer.
