Virtually a reason to move to Nashville 4/16/2005

Salon FX is an absolutely fabulous salon. I went on a recommendation from a friend and was hooked immediately. BRANDY is a fantastic stylist -- highly recommended! She always does an excellent job on my hair. I don't live in Nashville anymore but each time I visit, I make it a point to visit Salon FX and Brandy for a trim. Well worth it! 1st timer 9/15/2004

I recently went to SalonFX for the first time. The Salon is very nice and so are the people who work there. It was a comfortable experience. I wasn't sure what I wanted done with my hair when I arrived, but it couldn't have turned out better. I will be going back soon to have some color work done. I recommend that you ask for ATHEA when you call to make your appointment. She played an integral part of my great experience. Pros: great results, comfortablefriendly, experienced staff more

ASK FOR TELA 7/20/2004

I would like to suggest Tela Kulp. I was referred to her from a friend who always had great hair, so I've been going there about a year now myself! I love how she gets right on the scalp...that way I only have to go in about every 2 months! Just give her an idea of what color and she'll give you a suggestion! Thanks Tela! poor customer care 5/13/2004

Management is completely unresponsive to customer complaints and apparently prefers to remain ignorant of the poor service that some of its employees give to its customers. Cell phone use by employees while they are working with a customer should not be acceptable, especially when the salon charges such high prices. more

Wow! from Wyoming 3/24/2004

I live in Wyoming and was visiting Nashville, where my sister had made an appointment for me at Salon FX with Nina. She colored my hair but didn't cut it because it had been done recently. It was the absolute best hair color I have ever had. The atmosphere was great, and all of the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. TELA + Salon FX = Great Color and Hair!! 7/3/2003

I recommend that if you are in need of a great color and cut you see TELA, immediately!!!!!!!!!! I have been going to Tela for a year and a half, and she is absolutely amazing!!!! I see her at least once a month because no one has ever made my hair look the way she does. I have curly hair and she gets it completely straight and silky. My hilightes and color are ----oh my god--- completely perfect. I can go so much longer between colors now cause my hilightes are on my scalp!!! Thank god because I have left so many other salons looking like I still needed my roots done. I have never found a hair dresser like her and believe I have looked. Oh not to mention her haircuts are perfect too!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: Tela, Tela, Atmosphere more

TELA IS AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!! 12/12/2002

I went to Salon FX for the first time and saw Tela. I got the best haircut and color I have ever gotten. She was professional and funny. Tela was full of ideas and suggestions. I was pampered and felt so comfortable talking to her. I would refer anyone to her. My highlights were so close to my head and the color was beautiful!!!!! The desk was very helpful also. Definately worth the money. I will definately be going back. Awesome salon and awesome hairdresser!!!!! Pros: Tela, good parking, beautiful salon Cons: none, none, none more

I've been going to Tracy for 3 years now. She is abosultely fabulous! She listens to what I want and always suggests new ideas to try with my hair. I've tried other salons in the area, none compare to Salon FX and no stylist compares to Tracy. And you can't beat the student discount. more

Kimbol is great, but be prepared... 7/26/2002

...to not always get what you think you want. I've been going to Kimbol at Salon FX for a year now and have sent him perhaps 8 referrals. I think he's great, but my mom was shocked at how short her hair was - a week and may compliments later - she loved it. Kimbol has a great style and gives a great cut and color - if you are adamant about a certain style, bring a picture, but he will no doubt give you something that compliments your features perhaps better than your ""dream hair cut"" more

Don't go here!!! 5/31/2002

Their stylists have no clue what they are doing, I received a horrible cut and an even worse color. I will never ever return and I will be sure to warn all my friends to stay far far away from Salon FX. I spent a fair amount of money and it looks like I went to Fantastic Sams! Never again. more
