The best Ethiopian restaurant in ATL.Very convenient for a group. Ten of us went to Queen of Sheba Thursday night and we had an amazing time. The food was excellent, the service was very efficient and live jazz was playing. I strongly recommend this restaurant. Pros: live jazz more

One of my favorites, Great atmosphere, Savory food, Friendly Service 6/25/2007

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The service is always friendly, the food is always amazing, and the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. This restaurant is a great date place for couples that enjoy unique dining experiences. This isn't a good dining option for stubborn ""meat and potatoes"" people, but a great option for people who enjoy ethnic dining and new food experiences. Pros: One of my favorites, Great Atmosphere, Wonderful Food, Friendly Service more

I always get the meat and vegetable platter that comes on top of the injera. I always trade out the tripe though for extra chicken or lamb instead. Everything is wonderful and the food pairs up very well with red wine. Pros: One of my favorites, Great Atmosphere, Wonderful Food, Friendly Service more

Classy and warm atmosphere 6/8/2007

The service at the Queen of Sheba exceeded expectations as servers were warm and friendly. The food was well worth the wait, and the price was affordable for a family of four. I do recommend ordering appetizers, as the wait for your entree may take a while, but the atmosphere allows for excellent conversation as you wait for your meal. Whether a vegetarian or meat eater, Queen of Sheba has something to offer that provides great food with an excellent cultural experience. Pros: Very warm and cozy atmoshere, affordable prices Cons: longer than normal wait for entree which is why I recommend ordering an appetizer more

Not Good 10/13/2006

This was my first try of Ethiopian food so I have nothing to compare it to, but I will say that it was not good. I consider myself pretty open to eating various ethnic foods and haven't tried one that I didn't like yet. I felt that this restaurant was expensive for what we got ($10 for one chicken leg, on hard boiled egg and some sauce - yes, ONE chicken leg). The beer was reasonable ($3.50 a bottle). The service was lacking and because we had 6 people at the table, they automatically charged us an 18% tip. I know I will not be going back to this restaurant and I don't think I'll be eating Ethiopian food again. Pros: parking, cheap beer Cons: taste of the food, service more

Best Ethiopian in town 7/4/2004

Great food, great service, fun atmosphere. One of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta when I'm looking for something a little different. For those who haven't tried Ethiopian before, this restaurant is a great introduction! more

Use your fingers 5/29/2002

If you haven't had Ethiopian, abandon all desire to eat your meal with utensils before you go. For me, this restaurant served as a good introduction to Ethiopian cuisine. Taking a large group here allows everyone ends up trying just about everything. If you're a small group, try getting one of the sampler platters. more
