The owner is rude. The clothes are rarely brand name.. The store seems to think brand names are old navy and gap. Customer service does not exist I went around the corner to Next to New and had a much better experience. more

Don't waste your time or gas going here. They only want name brand clothes. But some of the clothing in their store looked like they should've be accepted either. "False advertisement." more

I took in a bunch of nice clothes they claim they will take, but they didn't. They claimed some of my clothes were past season or they didn't take the brand I brought in (I brought all NAME brands in). I looked around at the items they had for sale. Lots of past season stuff, It was more like a store for a Grandma. They had a fake coach purse, and some clothes even had holes in them. Somewhat confused when I left the store as to their buying policy based on what was on the racks. I would recommend plato's closet because they have better clothes without holes! more

It seems as though most of the reviewers (especially the one before this post) have Planet Xchange confused with Plato's closet. Planet Xchange is NOT owned by the same company as once upon a child and is in no way affiliated with them. This is a locally owned business providing this community with AMAZING, affordable second hand clothing. All of their items are current, name brand items, some of which cannot even be purchased in a local store (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie). I have been shopping here religiously for the 16 or so years they have been in business. It does not get better than this for great clothing at a great price. I get why they do not take just any stuff that comes through the door. If they did, they would not have the quality and fashionable items that they do. Yes, they are picky about what they buy, but they pay GREAT money (cash) for GREAT items and this is most certainly what sets them apart. They are not a thrift store so do not expect them to buy thrift store quality items. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could, as I am never disappointed with their fabulous, quality second hand buys and their friendly staff. more

I've taken bags & bags of BRAND NAME /EXCELLENT CONDITION CLOTHING... Idk if it depends of who goes through the clothing but 80% of the clothing they sell along w once upon a child since they have same owners .... There clothes are mostly out of style, out of date , SHRUNK SHIRTS , irregular sizes they offer FALSE ADVERTISING MOST OF THE CLOTHING IS OVER PRICED & BROKEN DOWN THEY GIVE YOU A DOLLAR PER ITEM WHEN YOUR SELLING ! THIS COMPANY IDEA IS A SCAM & A JOKE ! more

They never take my clothes. I am a girl who has tons of the brands they "claim" they want. American Eagle, Hollister, PacSun, Mossimo, Aeropostal. All of those brands. I take them in, and they only take 2 shirts and offer me like 4 dollars. I mean whatever. So I browse through their clothing and it all looks like its from the freakin 90's! I mean really? No wonder you didn't take my clothes. Even though you claim to be the target for junior girls. HARDLY. More like for Grandmas! Please. Save your time and go somewhere else. Like Goodwill. They have better selection than this place and your clothes go to a good cause. more

Sell your old clothes as long as they are fashionable, clean and in pretty good condition. Planet Xchange carries a large inventory of used clothing. This is a great place to buy a cool pair of vintage jeans. Merchandise rotates pretty quickly here so check back often for new things. This is a Knoxville favorite for mixing and matching new and old styles to create a unique look. more

Planet X-Change has a great offering of second hand clothing. They're very choosy about what they'll re-sell (I've had some nice brand-name items refused) so you can be sure to find some quality goods there. It's the type of place to visit often since they're always getting new (old) merchandise. Enjoy! more

Planet x-change is a great place to get great name brand clothes, footwear and accessories at an affordable price. The clothes are always in fashion an season. It is also a great place to take your clothes when you are done with them. However, be aware theat they are extremely picky on what they take and it has to be in that season or they won't take them. They do buy the items from you on the spot so you don't have to wait for them to sell before you get your money. more

Planet X-Change has a large selection of women's clothing and accessories. The prices are really cheap for the quality of the items. You can also take in old clothing and they will give you trade or cash for them. They are extremely picky about what they take so don't be surprised if they deny brand new clothes. While I like the clothes, the staff there are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I have never seen any of them smile and it always seems they can't wait to leave. more

Planet exchange offers the latest syles at reduced prices, thats because they are used. They generally have a good selection and a variety of sizes. They also have a large selection of accessories. (Belts, Buckles, Bags etc). If you are looking for vintage, this isn't the place to be, but if you are looking for recent trends then that is the place you want to be. more
