We stayed at a different one this same trip and loved it, so we decided to try this one in Knoxville. The room was huge and very comfortable, but it wouldn't kill the woman at the front desk to actually smile once in a while. I left feeling she wasn't thrilled that I was there. Otherwise, a nice place.

have stayed at the downtown Knoxville Hilton three times since Summer (all booked through an online service) and have always had an above-average room, comfortable and MORE than reasonably priced. The linens and comforters are clean and very attractive (all three rooms had a brown motiff) with an oversized bed, desk and enough cabinet space to furnish your home. Bathroom was also large, although water pressure was nil (but what hotel isn't).
The parking was VERY inexpensive and valet service was available. (I was too cheap to opt for that!). Location is also great, just down the street from UTK.
Once when I checked in I noticed an odd difference in manner when a "premium services" guest checked in and then when I did. They were nice, but very by the book with my check in. Check out was easy, and unlike a previous reviewer, my bill was always to the penny.
Book online, get a GREAT price, and sleep with a great view of the skyline out your window.

The North Knoxville Hampton has been remodelled and is much improved as a result.
We have stayed here frequently over the years because it is right next door to an O'Charley's restaurant and has always been clean and quiet.
They now have pet rooms, a bonus since my family always travels with the two dogs when they come to Knoxville to visit. Last but not least, there is a free hot and cold breakfast that is very good and means you save money on the breakfast cost the next day making this a budget concious place to rest sleep and eat!

We stayed in this hotel to avoid the crowds from Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg. We drove in before we lived in Knoxville and were still in North Carolina for school and on our way home to IL and stayed two nights. The suite accomodations that I asked for were what I expected since I had stayed in other locations throughout the U.S. Their service, as usual, very good and the location just right. They are located right outside Knoxville so that you are close to the Smoky Mountains and Knoxville, if you want to go into town. I would stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to everyone even though I now live in Knoxville. It would be nice to stay just to get away from the hubabuballooo of everyday life!

This is a relatively new hotel, located conveniently near I-40, but just far enough away that it isn't noisy. ANd it is nice just to get outside of Knoxvile but still be within 15 minutes of it at the same time!
The front desk clerk was polite and cheerful, the place is well maintained, and the room was spacious and clean. The room had a king bed, a mini-fridge and a microwave. Not bad for $70. The free continental breakfast was just ok, but whaddaya want for a cheap hotel breakfast you know???
We'd stay here again, for sure and I think we already have plans to take the kids here for a break away from home

We were very disappointed with our visit to this hotel. I should've known that it wasn't going to be a good experience when I tried calling and they didn't answer the phone the first 4 times. Then when they finally did answer the phone they hung up on me! But, we went in with the best expectations. We were excited to stay in a hotel that had an indoor swimming pool but disappointed when we went down and found the water to be COLD! The front desk said they were having problems with it and attempted to fix it. A few days later we were getting ready to leave when I noticed that my son had leaked through his diaper on the bed. I called down to the front desk and asked them to please replace the sheets. When we came home later that evening the sheets had not been replaced. I called down again and the front desk continued to argue with me that the bed had been remade and that I was wrong. They insisted that they would not fix the problem since housekeeping was gone and that we could switch rooms (our last night in the hotel after being there for 4 nights already). We opted against this and my husband and I had to sleep on a dirty bed (rather than uprooting 2 young children).
I even went as far as calling their corporate office and nothing more came of it.
