Dead Horse Lake is a good value for a golf course. It's well maintained for its price. It's pretty challenging and water comes into play on a couple of holes. It's not overly crowded, but sometimes the grounds crew gets in your way. There is also a very nice driving range with grass and mats. We like Dead Horse Lake.

They bring several flavors of ice cream and all kinds of toppings and you (and the kids) get to make your own sundaes. The men who brought the ice cream were really funny and great with kids!

The Clarence Brown Theatre is a professional theatre of the likes of much bigger cities. The shows are always magnificent and the acting superb. This year they are doing some really great shows - Arsenic and Old Lace, Big River, Trojan Women, to name a few. I don't think you'll be disappointed by going to the CBT for a night on the town.

I'm a beginner golfer and this course made me feel very comfortable. It's not too difficult - the fairways are wide enough on most holes (when they're not, I just skip it). It's well maintained and very cheap. When I went, it was a little too crowded for my taste (and I might add that it was only men), but it was good fun for not too much money.
