Brown Squirrel was the only place in our area that served all three purposes, and the selection was Awesome!! The wife and I bought our living room furniture, got quick financing with no interest for 4 years, and the Staff was courteous and friendly!! Thanks for making our shopping experience so much FUN!!

Stanley's Greenhouse is my choice for live plants for my home and garden. During Christmas they have the best selection of Poinsettias around (Some are huge!!) Their plants always appear healthy and they have a great selection of flowers. The staff is alwasy cordial and very knowledgable. The best part is it is not in west Knoxville!

This is a small town hardware/feed store in the big city. They are located in S. Knoxville and definitly down to earth people. Good prices, good selection and honest, hardworking people. I buy my dog food here, they only sell Diamond brand pet food. They also sell hay and straw and all the miscellanious items that a hardware store sells. They load everything up for you and know their customers by name. Suzanne runs the place and she is awesome. So nice to go somewhere where everyone knows your name, you aren't just another face in the crowd.

I've had several vehicles repaired at his shop over the past couple years. Always has very quick turnaround and excellant customer service. The owner is a very good man and stands behind his work. I have found the rates to be reasonable and fair. I disagree with other reviewers that the shop is pricey. I drive past a dozen or so other shops, including Wal-Mart and Pep Boys to get there, and its well worth the drive! In fact, i'm taking one of my cars there tomorrow for suspension repairs and came across this site looking up their number.
PROS: Excellant work at a fair price with quick turnaround
CONS: You have to drive 5 miles out of the city-big deal- its a pretty drive!

Farragut cleaners in not what I would call the best cleaning. I went there to get my dress cleaned and the stain was still there. It was less noticeable, but I could still see it. Not only that, but they are very inflexible with poor service. I went there to pick up my clothes on the date it said it would be done and it wasn't.

Knox rail salvage is one of my favorite places to go on the weekends. I ocould spend hours looking through their great selection of cabnets and tiles. For only one hundred dollars you can buy a ton of quality supplies for your home. Not only are they nice, but they are the East Tennessee distributor for Gomez Ceramic tile!
The only reason they are not perfect is because of their location (Magnolia Ave.). Magnolia Ave is probally the most gangsta-fied avenue in all of tennessee. This one street is a hang out for hookers, gangsters, crackheads, and great priced tile.
