I got married and had my reception here in 2001. It was wonderful. The house and grounds are designed for such occassions. There are several tiers to the beautiful gardens on the back of the house down to the Tennessee River. The colors are so pretty there isn't a need to spend a lot of money on flowers to decorate. It also lends itself to tons of beautiful pictures. The staff was great to work with. My only complaint is that there is very little parking and you don't get enought time in your rental allotment. Give it a look-see if you are planning a Knoxville wedding.

I have been here myself for different events including watching my daughter dance up on the stage. It is a beautiful, breathtaking place, and I hope all the financial difficulties ARE behind them because it would be a shame to see this place go downhill. Every trip there is as memorable as the last.

WOW! The Blount Mansion is as historical as they come.....William Blount also had a high school named after him, which I went to.....GO GOVS! Anyways back to Blount Mansion its a great experience for new comers to the area and old timers :) History is everywhere in the mansion!

I have been taking my cars to Jimmy Matlock since he first opened his 1st store on the corner or Lovell road and Kingston Pike. in the early 80's
Jimmy has always treated his customers more than fair. He has several different locations now.
The help he hires is first class, bar none. He does all engine car repairs and sells tires. I have never had a problem taking my automobiles there, or suggesting someone to take theirs there. He has a great waiting room with a TV and lots of magazines and newspapers. A phone you can use..soda machine.
Check out and see if he has a business close to you. You won;t be sorry

Kids are garunteed to have fun learning here! Great for field trips, or summer trips! All kinds and ages of peopel are allowed and welcomed here! great place, a little small but thats it! I am an ex employee and I want to say this facility was a pleasure to work for as well as a pleasure to the residents there. You hear about being treated like family but thats not how it really is in this facility it truly is what it says.

This is one HUGE library! Not New York Huge! But its still Huge! Great Slections, Librarians are nice, very quiet! Great reading spot! Highly Recommended! Seats are all around so sitting down to thumb threw a book is no pronlem! Staff is very helpful and always there when needed! Customers are nu,mber 1 here not employees!
